“I cannot say enough about Lunardi's. I highly value a local market with fabulous meat and produce. There's a butcher onsite who is knowledgeable and can order special cuts if they don't have them. Service is top notch. The wine department may appear small, but it is brilliant. And if you need assistance picking a wine, it's available. The produce is second to none! Their buyers are terrific. The bakery and cakes are great! Special orders are no problem. The cashiers have been working at The store forever and know everyone. And the baggers are great, too. I never, ever want to live in a town where I can't walk to Lunardi's and get exactly what I need.”

“The place is very convenient, good variety for middle eastern stuff. The cashier Momen was extremely nice. The butcher there was very rude, he wasn’t nice to the customers nor the employees. If you asked him to cut some meat for you, he will tell you “you can do it at home”. If I can do it at home why I am asking you.”

“Pretty good market. A lot of food from all over Latin America including blood sausage. Staff is friendly and everything is pretty straight forward. They have a few items you really can't find at most markets so it's worth. Prices is fair and parking is decent overall.”

“Dining was a very nice experience with great food - and plenty of it - and very friendly and attentive service. The attached market offers an exquisite and exotic selection.”

“This store has been our go to for the past 30 years. I love how cconvenient it is. There was a time when I dreaded coming in here because of the staff and the poor quality of produce. NO MORE. this store has improved by leaps and bounds. The produce is great now. The meat is above average especially for the price. The staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you all!”

“Convenient to Campbell residents that live close by. Priced accordingly so not a regular grocery store but great for emergencies.Check expiry date on all purchases.”

“This place is not as bad as other "Yelpers" are making it to be, however this place can use a slight face-lift. It's not necessarily a place to do your full blown shopping. Items that are "popular" to the so called American customers and not so much to the Brown Indigenous (Native American/Mexican,etc) yes those items will obviously be outdated. I mainly go there for the queso fresco Mexicano and purple corn tortilla and at times I get other items that are likely to be in high demand GET IT. For example I won't go to an "Asian" market to look for tortilla or Tapatio hot sauce WHY because I know at that particular store it's not in HIGH DEMAND!!!!”

“If you want a one-stop-shop for dry and wet goods, be here in this supermarket! They had all the stocks here. Surely, customers will not regret their visits here the same as me.”

“I'm a Safeway guy. I came here though as i was going to the liquor store next door (See my upcoming review for San Thomas Liquor). I think i may be coming to this Lucky's more though. It looks like they have renovated the space to make it a bit more modern. I was pleasantly surprised. I came in to get some ingredients to make pot roast. They have everything i needed. First stop was the produce section. Very well kept, nice and organized, presentation looked photo ready. Next i went to check for some other things i had on the grocery list. I needed AP Flour, and they had a multitude of variety. I'll be coming here for some Semolina flour to hand make pasta soon enough. Next on the list was some soda. I'm a diet pepsi guy personally, but they have all the usual suspects- Coke, et al. Shelves appear to be fully stocked, and there were several workers restocking. The staff is friendly, parking friendlier. I always see the ads that come in via mail, and they have some great deals too. The thing i like about this Lucky is the convenience of parking, and it wasn't crazy here. The Safeway i usually goto has a bunch of stuff missing and parking is a pain.”

“Quintessential East San Jo Grocer. Very heavy lean on hispanic digs but I'd say also about the other 30% of the offerings here are legit Asian with a heavy lean on things Vietnamese. I stock my fridge and pantry with more things from places like this than say Safeway or Whole Foods, so I was a good fit for this place. The store is somewhat in the hood, there's a security guard up front all the time. The store is pretty big, bigger than most corner stores. This is probably the size of an old American grocery back in the day, when the Bay Area was about a third the size as it is today. The store is pretty clean and well stocked and I was able to easily spot some sweet ass deals. I have a side hustle in this area, so I'll pop in every 2 weeks or so and I usually leave with a nice sized bags worth of staples. I love their produce and meat counter here, much more ethnic in offerings. Asian greens, chiles of all sizes and heat, herbage and even a seasonal fruit or 2. Most great prices, beats both Safeway and 99 Ranch. Their meat counter is order by the piece or pound. Didn't see things pre-packaged so you will need an employee, which I actually find charming in an old school way. No big selection for things like steak (unless it is carne asada) but many things meant to get cooked low and slow, which is a very ethnic way to cook. So lots of meats for braising/stewing or even slow roasting, which is actually my preferred way to cook on most days. Huge offal area too, better and more thorough than anything I have in my local area. Definitely an old worlder's dream and an American suburbanites nightmare. Even though I live in the suburbs, I definitely live with more old world tendencies. The only part I didn't really care for over here was their seafood counter. Very sparse and looked a bit sketchy. Even an American grocery store had a more valid seafood section, and that's kinda saying a lot. But outside of that one knock, this place fits me quite well. I'll continue to shop here, as long as my travels keeps me in their path. A service that suits me well.”

“Popular place for weekly grocery run. Veggies, tropical fruits, raw peanuts. Asian groceries. They will even fry fish that you choose. There are often good prices for crab and the lines prove it.”

“Neat & clean, well organised and the bathrooms were clean too. The shelves were all a bit empty which seemed strange, but the employees are friendly & smiling and will help you out with whatever you need to find!”

“A No-frills Asian supermarket along Saratoga Ave. They have a good selection of most things that one would look for and come to expect in an Asian supermarket. Their produce and meat section looks particularly stocked. One thing that's very apparent is the decor and overall look of the market which looks like it's stuck in the '90s. It's great to have an Asian market in this location though. Don't hesitate to stop by.”

“This Lucky store has the advantage of being 4 minutes from my home.On a night like tonight, the night before Halloween, that's a good thing. I am making cookies and had to make no less than two separate trips to the store for ingredients. ?I can count on the store to have all of the major brands and all of the ingredients that I need for any of my cooking adventures. Tonight was no exception,I also needed a pumpkin and on the night before Halloween, they are all on sale! Cinderella pumpkins in different colors, some with warts and some smooth, for $5 each! I didn't have a pumpkin for Halloween but now I have some amazing ones thanks to the lucky store. As for the basics, the store has four self-checkup registers but none of them were open tonight by the time I arrived. They had one lane open and the young lady working it made that second trip worthwhile. Friendly people who are always ready to help.”

“This store was a good size and had most of what I needed to shop for. I ended up getting dungeness crab legs for $9.99/lb and I thought that was a good deal. They always have the 5 for $25 sale going on and I believe that it's a good value if you need to buy in bulk, or have the room in your freezer and want to save money on goods you'll buy anyway.”

“This location is by far the most convenient and they are stocked with Siracha for $6 for the large bottle. The parking lot isn't as congested as the sister stores which I am fond of because lets face it, plaza's can be a pain. I do see the employee's trying to keep up their due diligence to ensure bruised food is tossed out and keeping produce as fresh as possible.”

“My preferred go-to for quick shopping needs. Today, I grabbed essentials for the upcoming week – accidentally opting for a case of water instead of a gallon. The rotisserie chicken, a personal favorite, impresses with its ideal temperature and tender texture. The variety extends to vegetables, fruits, spices, red meats like pork and beef, and options for white meat with fish and chicken. Pastries and bread are also on offer. The aisle is consistently clean, with well-organized and stocked shelves. Checkout is a breeze, thanks to numerous self-checkout counters. Ample parking space and a well-maintained deli, where ready-to-eat food can be ordered, further enhance the overall shopping experience.”

“Shopping in Walmart on Steven Creek is always fun. I bought bananas but I noticed that the rate per pound was higher than other places. I always go to Walmart for everyday low prices not by itself but by other retailers too. The store is clean and the checkout line were moving fast.”
