The support from Yvette throughout the whole process of replacing my inverter was amazing. She kept me advised through the wait. Lucas was the installer of the new inverter and he was wonderful explaining everything and what to look for as well. I highly recommend this company for any of your solar needs or to install a new system.

These guys are really good. They know what they are doing and got the PG&E permit for me in a shorter time frame than their competitors could. Their prices are fair too. Highly recommended!

Cinnamon energy was recommended by a friend after I had quotes from four different contractors. Ralph designed a SolarEdge dc system with a custom panel arrangement to maximize the power for our single story roof area.The installers were friendly, knowledgeable and the system was operational in two days. The city permitting went smoothly and the PG&E operation came in about four weeks. The support from the office staff, coordinators and engineering was helpful, professional and responsive.

I chose Cinnamon Energy to design and install our new solar system for several reasons: 1) Reputation, 2) Helpfulness and knowledgeability of the salesperson, 3) Very competitive quote, 3) Local company. I am glad that I chose them. The installation process was virtually seamless. They were amazingly responsive and fast. The installation was done quickly and efficiently. They did a fantastic job coordinating with PG&E and Town of Los Gatos officials. The installation is very neat, and they restored my fence and the area of the wall around the new service panel to pristine condition. I am very pleased with the results. My system is generating enough power to run my house during daylight hours, and has significantly reduced the cost of charging my EV. The monitoring software works great.I have pessimistic tendencies, so I am a little concerned about the recent reviews on Yelp that claim that their warranty service is poor. Cinnamon would have to change from the upstanding Dr Jekyll into his evil alter-ego, Mr Hyde. I hope that I won't need warranty service, but if I do, I hope that they will be as quick and efficient as they were with the installation process.

Poor Customer Support! Lost $$$!! System installation was delayed but OK. However, when the inverter failed during the highest production months of the year, it took them over 2 months to respond. This cost me over $1500 in lost savings. I had to hound them to get any kind of response, and the problem persisted after the "fix". I still do not have any explanation for the issue, and they will not provide any compensation for my lost savings due to their incredibly slow response. One employee blamed it on the fact that the CEO's daughter was part of the issue, and they can't blame her!! All of this occurred during my initial 12 month warranty period. Stay away!Any solar company can install a system, but components fail and support is the key to long term savings!

I would highly recommend Cinnamon Energy. Every single person we spoke to was a top-notch professional...responsive, knowledgeable and friendly.. They really listened to our needs and answered every question. The project was installed on time and any questions we had throughout the process were answered quickly. We are very happy with our new system.

Had full system with battery installedHad a few issues and there service is unresponsive - I would not recommend cinnamon energy systems-A very frustrating experience trying to deal with them.

I had a full system with battery installed in September We had a few issues with permits and there was some circuits not wired correctly. During a power outage the backup failed for an unknown reason- when trying to contact customer service there was no reply for a weekThen when another issue came up they said $600.00 to send some one outVery frustrating experience- I would not recommend them

Overall pretty pleased with Cinnamon's solar install. Their customer service is very responsive and great to work with. They made the process pretty seamless and there were no complications with getting everything approved by the city and coordinated with PGE. My one reservation is that their sales person explicitly represented that Cinnamon was experienced with installing panels on a metal roof before and would have no issues doing it here. Lo and behold, come install day, the team that installed the panels trampled all over and dented a brand new metal roof we had just installed less than a year ago. It was extremely disappointing, but Cinnamon was very responsive in responding to the issue and had our preferred roofing company come back and fix the roof. While the roof is mostly repaired, it's obviously not in the pristine state it was prior to the solar installation panel install. This is an issue more unique to metal roofs as you need to tread carefully on them to avoid denying them, so perhaps others won't run into this issue with a more standard roof. Overall we're satisfied and would recommend.
