Stay away. I walked inside with three friends because a lamp in the window caught my eye. We walked in, the man on the phone quickly ended his phone call saying he had some people inside. He said hello. I asked how much the lamp was. He hesitated and then quickly shut us down saying they were only open by appointment. They must not like money. It is a store full of junk. Looked like a storage unit. Do not do business here. It is likely a drug front for all I know.

I am constantly buying interior from antique shops, curated thrift stores, flea markets, etc. My apartment in mainly second hand stuff. So while my friend stopped at pinks i thought I'd check this place out since I've driven by many times. I walk inside and it looks like a crappy yard sale. Almost like they bring random junk they find on the street. There was two guys in here. And one of them says hi to me and i reply. We begin to make casual small talk as I'm looking around and i happen to mention that my friend is ordering food at pinks next door. Then he goes oh i thought you were a serious buyer and immediately opens the door for me to leave. And I'm thinking to myself how does that not make me a serious buyer? I couldn't believe what was happening i almost didn't know how to react so i just didn't. He was basically kicking me out and i just didn't care to argue with him so i walked out. When i walked out the door i said you're f*cken weird. Anyway.. You sir are a complete idiot. You don't know how to conduct business. Take a business communications course at your local community college. You need it.

this place is a hidden treasure! a very cozy, cool little shop on labrea, with eclectic collectable decor, and lighting fixtures f from various eras. owned and operated by the owners, who also do refinishing, and custom lampshades, as well as assist in interior design projects.
