They are always giving me the wrong order especially when they have you park. Then they are so quick to handec out they dont check . Theres been times i dont find out tilll i get home all to have to turn back again.

DO NOT TRY TO USE ZIPCAR!!They are a fraud! They tell you that you need to give them money BEFORE they approve you. Then you cant even access their website or availability. When you ask for your money back, they say it's used to check your driving record. I have NOT heard from Zipcar since they day I tried to sign up, bit they took my money. You cant call to speak with anyone!DO NOT TRUST THEM!I WANT MY MONEY BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

Back when I was a student, I used Zipcar for minor trips to the grocery. When I knicked a car after parking poorly on a hill, I called to file a report since it was my first accident. When the owner showed up, he said it was nothing major and we parted ways. A month later, Zipcar claimed the owner filed damages amounting to $700. When I got in touch with him, he said he never filed anything. Zipcar then forced me to pay $700 to their company and banned me from using their cars ever again. Even though there was no damage to their vehicle.

I have a suspended account with ZipCar. I don't know why it's suspended. I don't owe them any money. Tried to get it reopened online - their website is useless if you need info. Called them three days ago to get it reinstated. The guy couldn't tell me why it was suspended since I don't owe a balance. I was told it would take 5-7 business days to reinstated it (even though new applications get approved within 48 hours). I told him I was going to New York in four days and could they please put a rush on it. Didn't hear back and now I just called again three days later and again was told 5-7 days even though they couldn't tell me why I'm suspended. When I told him I really needed it reinstated to go to New York (now tomorrow) his response was "Well we have to respect our Member Services Department and the 5-7 day wait." So in other words, they basically told me to f**k off. Nothing should take 5-7 business days anymore. I've had loans approved in less time. Zipcar sucks!

I reserved a Honda Odessey minivan weeks in advance for a 4 day rental. I get to the valet parking garage in the airport shuttle only to find the car does not work due to transponder issues that the garage supervisor sats she reported to Zipcar a week earlier. Zipcar claimed there were no reported problems. Zipcar thinks contracts are something the customer has to abide by but they don't. They don't seem to have another car similar to the Odeseey in all if LA. I spent hours and $20 cab fare to go to get another Zipcar that does not meet my needs only to find out the gas card does not work. Zipcar say just pay for it yourself, we'll reimburse you. Sure when and how? The instructions they gave me fir getting reimbursementare nit correct for iphone it ipad. They say get on a computer. This was a ip ar rental located near LAX for longterm rentals, I don't carry a computer everywhere. The phone support guywas dense. Asked to speak to supervisor and got put on perm hold.
