A David Chang restaurant in LA. I've been to his Momofuku restaurant in NYC and loved it so I naturally had to try Majordomo. You have to plan ahead to reserve the short rib special and it is amazing. They cut it tableside and serve it lettuce, kitchen, and radishes. Such a good balance of flavors but the prime rib by itself is very flavorful and smoky. The Bing is also a must with the cultured butter and honey. This is seriously addictive. We also had the mussels with the crispy rice which was also delicious.Overall, the vibe of the restaurants was great and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.

Brought mom for birthday dinner. The short rib plate is amazing, the mocktails were great and I wish the bing with butter and honey was a never ending dish.

The staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. We were there at opening, reservations recommended, however it took quite a long time to get our drink order which seemed odd.

Every single dish I had could have been the best course at another restaurant. A very delicious meal with good service. Fantastic place.

Definitely didn’t live up to the hype. When it comes down to a Michelin ranger restaurant, the restaurant has to live up to the hype and this one definitely didn’t. The food was a little bit on the average side, considering we tried a lot of different things on the menu. Most importantly, they ran out of two different items one of which was the short rib which they’re known for and then the other one was the donut.we had to send back a couple of items because they just didn’t taste good. Overall 100% disappointing place.

What a wonderful place to take friends to a place ro remember. Great atmosphere and outrageous food. Order the short rib 24 hours beforehand if you want the best steak you've ever had (this beats steaks I've had in Omaha). The drinks are diverse and very tasty. The crispy rice and the sugar snap peas are on a whole other level- super amazing.

I’ve heard about this spot from other friends and it’s been positive reviews. This night my friend had a birthday gathering with a prefix menu that they prepicked before the reservation and it was phenomenal. Great spot for our party of 20+ people. It started with the King Prawn, which reminded me more of a ceviche and this dish was delicious. Solid flavor and it was served at room temperature from what I remember. The Tuna Carpaccio was also very delicious, solid flavor and fish quality was up there. The cultured butter, honey ricotta & chili crunch was also a great little side dish. It was delicious and you can add it to their breads, but by itself it was awesome. Now the Little Gem Salad was one of my favorite dishes, it was simple, flavorful and had a nice crunchy bite to it. The Fried Cauliflower was also delicious and it was served in sauce. Nice texture and flavorful. The Grilled Striped Bass was cooked perfectly and it was really tender. It was seasoned perfectly and was a solid entree. The Whole Plate Short Rib beef along with the beef rice, was phenomenal and my favorite out of all of them. The beef was cooked just right, with just a good amount of fat. The rice mix was incredible too.Now Rice Pudding was delicious and an overall great dessert, but I would have opted for an ice cream or pastry type dish to finish it off.I’d definitely come back here again and customer service was excellent. The wine sommelier has solid selections for reds & overall it was a phenomenal dining experience.

High on vibes, though even the ambiance isn’t as impressive as I think they think it is. Food is interesting but way too expensive for the portion and quality. More provocative than good. Felt vapid. Made for instagram.

My friend wanted to eat here forever. David Chang's Majordomo is his love letter to California, specifically Los Angeles. It's in a sketchy industrial-esque area. The night we went, it was freezing cold and the wind added an extra layer of cold. Fortunately, we had indoor seating. It was still a little chilly (cement walls), but as the alcohol came, we finally warmed up.Our waitperson was AWESOME! I have food allergies, specifically SOY and Corn. We called ahead, and they had a special menu just for me, with foods that I could have. How extraordinary is that?!I had the Wagyu Beef (melt-in-your-mouth exquisite), the (fat) Sugarsnap Peas in Horseradish, and Lemon. My friend got the Bo Samn, The Mushroom Crispy Rice, and the Crispy Potato. The food was worth the drive (2 1/2 hours), worth the cold, worth the wait to get in, and, well, it was one of the best meals of my life. The dessert was Paguon Pie. It was green and the top was similar to Creme Brule. And the Bing! The Bing with Honey, Butter, and Truffles, ahhhh so GOOD!The restrooms are outstanding. Beautiful and clean. The toilets have controls, seat warmers, lights, Bidet, etc. I have never seen a toilet like that in a restaurant. The warming seat was amazing! The staff go above and beyond any good experience you have had in other places. You will feel welcome and you will feel cherished. The restaurant itself is beautiful. One of these days we are going to come back and enjoy the pork shoulder (you have to order 3 days in advance). It's a bit on the expensive side, but I believe it's worth it, all the way around, it's worth it.Parking: There was a paid parking lot across the street $12 dollars. Decent.

Delicious food, generous portions, excellent service. First time "family style" has been an accurate description at a restaurant in a while. The Bo Ssam was plenty of food for four people, and the crispy rice was a highlight too.Parking: Street parking nearby, plus a paid lot of the street is full, $12

Honestly, if I didn't have a cockroach run across the bar top as my gf and I were eating there for the first time I would have a much higher review. The food was great, the atmosphere was nice, but to have a roach crawl across where you're about to eat ruined the vibe. They gave me a free dessert so I guess there's that lol. Might go back just because the food was good but after seeing roaches in her first experience, my GF doesn't ever want to eat there again unfortunately.
