A huge shout out to Nick and Silverio. I have a membership at Equinox and LA fitness. I’ve been coming to this LA Fitness for years and one of the reasons I keep coming back is because the customer service frequently knows the overall energy in space.
Nick has worked very hard to diligently manage his place and keep things running up to par. It is not like any of the other LA fitness on my opinion it’s the best. A lot of client professional clientele actually and they help take care of the space. In addition I want to give a shout out to Silverio. He’s a hard-working fine man. He keeps a men’s locker room absolutely fastidious and every time I see him he’s diligently working on one of the machines so that there aren’t problematic machines. I like this place and I definitely wanted to give my shout out.

I used to love going to this location… especially using the punching bags upstairs. But for at least a couple of years now, there’s a Hispanic man in his 50s or 60s who has made a personal business of coaching people and giving (sometimes unwanted) advice to anyone who wants to use the bags.
He basically camps out there all day and night with all of his equipment.
He’s even given me dirty looks whenever I use the bags, as if I’m invading his space.
The staff there has basically checked out.

Been coming here for years... Admittedly, it’s only until this year that I’ve started coming 5 days a week and the staff is always super nice, machines are always working and bathrooms are always clean!

Ricky N. was very helpful with setting up my membership cannot recommend this gym enough. Definitely recommend this location if you’re looking for a clean gym that’s not packs.

This is my favorite gym!!!!
Everyone is attentive, and they offer a wide variety of machine, weights, classes, etc.

i loved this gym. Great service, good equipment, and great views since it is in the hills. It feels like the type of gym you would hit up on a vacation.

Don’t walk, RUN AWAY. I knew I shouldn’t have given this gym a second chance but LA Fitness’s predatory nature is by far the worst experience I ever had.
I cancelled my membership here a year ago because it was too expensive for what it is, it’s constantly crowded, dirty, with poor gym etiquette. Free weights are disorganized with 90s next to 5s and never maintained.
I came back in 2024 on a trial pass because I happened to be free, did a workout, and when I planned to leave, they held me hostage for 30 minutes trying to sign up for a membership. I couldn’t leave because they took my drivers license coming in and wouldn’t give it back until I paid them $20 for a “guest fee” or sign up for a membership.
I told them fine I’ll pay the $20. Their card reader wouldn’t work and then they proceed to walk me back to their sales table to attempt sell a membership TWO ADDITIONAL TIMES. They cannot take NO for an answer. Don’t come here.

One the better locations in the LA area.
Plenty of adjacent parking, 2 levels of equipment, bball court, free weights, punching bags, dance/cardio studio room….
My only negative comment is that the men’s locker room consistently smells terrible and has a relatively dirty floor throughout.
