Just like all the reviews, this branch is terrible. Bank of hope Olympic branch is the most unprofessional branch I’ve ever encountered. Not only do they not want to lift a finger if someone hit and ran your car in the parking lot they’re claiming they have no cameras. Good luck if you withdraw cash and get robbed. Do not go here, at this point deciding whether to continue with bank of hope. Lol still no reply.

Cameras are useless. I got a hit and run and they gave me the run around and nearly refused to help me. Forget the multiple dumb questions I'm asked about the wire.Branch manager made it very difficult to do a simple camera request for the parking lot camera. Basically saying that they have no cameras when clearly theres a camera there.Good luck if you withdraw money and you get robbed. 'No cameras' Also a monthly wire that I've been sending for over 10 years gets suddenly withheld for 2 days 'for an unknown' error after complaining to the staff and branch manager. Just the most pettiest and unprofessional bank branch I've ever seen. Other brank branches are fine, this branch needs to clean house. I can only imagine what atrocities other customers had went through. Imagine an senior citizen that gets taken advantadge or neglected by a branch so unprofessionally ran.

Atm machine always broke, they lock your card if you try to purchase overseas transactions, they lock your card for purchases out of state. Bad customer service. Website is way out of date. They are usually very friendly and do great and her pleasant. There is some things they need to change. Expensive fees for bank statements. You call the customer service number, they are hard to reach.

Absolutely horrible and highly do NOT recommend this bank to anyone. The so called "supervisor" ANGIE CHUNG (location: 2738 West Olympic Boulevard Los Angeles, CA) was incompetent and exceptionally rude. She was also seen scolding the staff members as if she was Miss Agatha Trunchbull (Matilda reference). Angie Chung please learn some manners and hospitality, and act accordingly to your age. People are dying, losing their jobs, and are struggling for their next meal in the midst of this pandemic. Your animosity and ignorance is unwarranted.

Totally incompetent and deficient customer service: I called 1-888-811-6272 on 09-12-2019 @ 11:10 am to inquire about a discrepancy of balance after making 2 atm transactions at local bank of hope atm machine. A customer personnel by the name of "Debra Min" could not figure out why and neither could her supervisor figure out why. Her supervisor said I need to talk to my main branch and he said he will transfer me to that branch and he hung up on me. I have called bank of hope customer service before but never had satisfying service from them....

condescending attitude towards customer with an account; poor training of clerks which indicates lack of direction and leadership at the top. other braches are better than this one.

I forgot my username for the online portal and called customer support. They told me to come in to a branch to get my username because they have a new system. Why do they have customer support? Why would a "new" system not let you give me my username over the phone or even send my email on file the reset link?

If a customer is non-korean, staff members will ignore him/her because they are all Koreans and their English is terrible. I had to wait over 5 minutes to get assistance. The one who was somewhat fluent did not show much interest. One star is too much.
