The security guard is extremely unprofessional. Makes me super uncomfortable. Last time I was there he was talking about what a great president Trump is! He is not fit to work in an lgbt clinic.

The guy at the front desk told me to seat back and wait for my named to be called then left work, then I waited for 40 minutes finally I went to the window to ask a female receptionist, she told me that there was nothing to let me wait for, I could have just left already! OMG...And the security guard is very disturbing, talking nonstop very annoying, the single most effective way to improve your client experiences is to get rid of him!

The main problem is that the CEO doesn't pay very well and he overloads the clinics with too many patients. That means that it's a revolving door for the doctors, nurses and staff. Not good. People who work there are often really nice and they're doing the best they can, but it's poorly run otherwise.The appointments are often months out and they don't care if your need is pressing, you just have to wait. My friend needed to get a quick exam before having some emergency dental surgery and they told him he had to wait a month for an appointment. Seems they don't understand what the word "emergency" means. Now my friend has to walk around with gaps in his teeth until he can get someone to examine him.Just really poor, poor customer service. Only go here if you have no other option

Not an STD screening clinic. So annoying that you can't call these clinics on the phone to get the info. Drove out here to be told I was at the wrong clinic. Drove to the correct clinic and everybody's taking lunch together at the same time.

I am nurse and on I had labs drawn Dec 13,2021 my pcp missed a simple diagnosis and again in Jan 2022 when I returned with horrible symptoms, she still missed it. She also disguised herself as an MD when in fact she was an DO shame on AHF corporate. Whom I also contacted regarding the issues but nothing ever was resolved. She nearly killed me and was left legally blind for 4 months, and now permanent eye damage and my life was turned up side down and ruined. I finally got to help after many mis-diagnosis from other hospital until I ended up in the hospital at LAC+USC thank god for them I was finally diagnosed and treated. The Department of public health has substantiated my call of error, the doctor is no longer at the location but I would not go there the medical director also could have avoided my health issue if he would have just given me the referral I needed in the beginning. Though I am having a heck of a time trying to retain an attorney for this case I am still a little hopeful I will find one soon my time is running out! If you know of an attorney that will take this case please let me know. Stay away from the AHF downtown clinic. Also she performed illicit drug test without my verbal or written approval, I have heard that this has happen to many others too!! Beware My rating is 0 stars but I had to give one to post it!

Unfortunately this place is poorly managed run etc. Badly trained medical so-called professionals. After dealing with AHF's inability to relay correct information and or return phone calls and dealing with a full staff of poorly qualified doctors, case managers, receptionists and managers. I decided to leave and go to USC for truly professional and compassionate care. The way this place operates is rather disappointing and it's obvious that there's no accountability.

For me to have been a client for over four years now, whoever this Dr. Javiera is to intentionally not refill my scripts and deliberately ignore my request for a phone call as I have left numerous messages is Absurd. I’ve even purposely visited the clinic to ensure her “due diligence” as a medical provider. To my surprise I received no contact what so ever. I’m now beginning to think that this is not just a regular administrative issue. I’m now thinking that this is more discriminatory and intentional and very much against the law. Yes I’m African-American yes I’m a participating member of the clinic, And yes a four year nonstop active patient. This type of negligence should never be forced or even considered when dealing with anybody of any race or color having a terminal illness.

Doctors think a 1min call over the phone to do a "check-up" will help them figure out your viral load and such. Then when I tried telling the doctor I was running late she proceeds to tell me she won't be able to see me because of other patients. I get there and the lobby is empty. Keep in mind this was at 8:30am.

Money guy in parking area either can't count or is a legit thief. Cash only is a horrible idea and leads to dishonest handling of customers.

Lately the staff was rude specially the black lady that organizes the Thanksgiving event, (don't know her name but I'll get it!) She's a b****** Don't know what hang up she has! She is always rude & cutting in, when nobody minds her! Than the head nurse is always smooching & kissing the clients! There are other issues but the list is to long! I'm glad I left!

I came here on Thursday 4/23/20 around 4:00pm to pick up my meds. Upon entry, a nurse held an infrared thermometer against my forehead. I was astonished, stepped back and ask why she pressed the infrared thermometer touching my forehead and she casually said "Dont worry; I cleaned it". I was like how can i trust her. I didnt see her cleaning it. Why arent they using the non-contact infrared thermometer? It is scary coming here!
