I have repeatedly come to this store trying to match existing Benjamin Moore paint. They have never been able to match something close or show any empathy about the situation. Fortunately, this time I did not take their "this is the best that can be done" as an answer and went to another store where they perfectly matched my wall color based on the same chip.

Go to Gray's Paint,Centrihouse Paint,South Bay paint If you want a good experience. Not a very knowledgeable staff unless you want to know what's a good show on Netflix's or sports update.Overpriced, poor customer service, bad business ethics.Drive the extra 20 minutes if you want real paint store experience.

Extremely helpful staff with competitive prices. Way better than going to box stores and overpaying. They were able to suggest the right type of paint and could also make the shade I chose regardless of which company it was from. And all this with an amazing attitude! Jose was super helpful in clearing my doubts and suggesting options that would work best for my home.

I feel impressed with the wonderful work well done, I was told every achievement begins with a decision to try, I was a victim of scam but I got convinced by the right person of which I gave in a try of $1000 investment and I got a profit of $13,200 in seven days. Thank you Mrs Taisha Carson for the kind of smile you put on my face. For those who are also interest you can contact her on Email:

Terrible experience. Never ever visit this store please!!! The staff is rude and made paint for me without sharing the correct price. He told me price will be cheaper but finally charged me more. Also he threatened that I have to buy since he already made the product?

Stay away from this store (Los Altos). I went to this store with my two kids to select paint. My 4y and 6y old were standing close to the door playing with each other, while I was talking with the store staff. My two children did not touch anything, or running around, the store staff suddenly started to yell at them. I immediately took them away. I would call cops, but I don't want to scare my kids too much. Just Stay away from this store for your own safety.

TLDR: stay away from this store, go to the Palo Alto location.I live literally 3min from this place but I've never been bc it has the reputation for having horrible customer service. I always drive the 20min to go to the Palo Alto store. I figured I could give it a try tonight, that maybe it wasn't as bad as I had heard. Well, it was worse. I was made to feel like an inconvenience for coming in unsure of what volume of paint i needed. The man in the store, who later identified as Charles and said he was the manager, sighed heavily when I approached him for help, offered none, and kept sighing as i did math on one side of the counter while holding my baby. All he wanted was to know what I wanted and he was not going to help me figure it out. When, I said that it seemed that the store's reputation for having no customer service was true (a risky move on my part, I'll admit it), the guy became aggressive and told me i could leave and that he was not going to serve me. It only went downhill from there and the guy really pushed me past my limit.I called the Palo Alto location, they helped me figure things over the phone, took my order and were so apologetic. I told them it was not their fault but they were so embarrassed. Both locations have the same owner. I don't know how he can allow such a horrible management of the los altos location. It doesn't even remotely feel like the same company.

Disappointing paint matching capabilities. First try looked ok when wet, but dried to a very different color. Second try was promised for Monday, but when I went in to pick up I was told the match wouldn't even start until Wednesday, due to a backlog of match fails. I picked up my reference cabinet door and went to Kelly-Moore.

Raced out of work to get to this store at 4:58pm to pick up a paint chip. Paused for 30 seconds in parking lot to courteously avoid someone who was backing out. Door was locked. I knocked. Guy ignored me. Called through the door gap asking for a paint chip; the guy yelled at me that they were closed. Checked my phone at that instant and it was 4:59 pm. I arrived when it should have been open and it was locked; and the guy was rude to a customer. I'm about to buy several thousand dollars of paint but it won't be from here.

I will never go to this store again. The manager, DJ, refused to help me and told me that my questions took up too much of their time, despite the fact that there were two employees present and I was the only customer in the store. He was extremely rude and combative right off the bat - as soon as I asked the first question he said that they won't answer questions like mine. I only asked about what tints go in different colors. Backstory... I went into this store in the morning, asked about different whites, bought 3 quarts and painted some on my walls - that all went fine and the employee who helped me was very nice and helpful, and I figured out which color to use on my walls. I went back later to figure out what color to use on trim that would go with the walls. The employee from earlier was there so I started asking the same types of questions about what tints went into different colors and DJ stepped in to say that they won't answer questions like that because it will take too much of their time. I was the only customer in the store. I asked how I could tell what went together and he shoved a brochure at me and told me to pick from there. I explained that I was asking about tints to understand undertones and he said that he would print some labels for me and I could read it myself - the employee in the morning had told me things like 2 drops of yellow, 3 drops of gray, and I explained that I didn't understand how that matched the labels and DJ told me to just read it. I will never go to this store again.

Did lots of Benjamin Moore research on-line and discovered suggestions from various people for 5 shades of true gray that did not look blue or green when placed on the wall. I then went to my nearest Benjamin Moore dealer, California Paints on Grant Rd. in Los Altos with those suggestions in hand. The gentleman working, whom I believe to be the manager, asked me what color I wanted. When I said I wasn't sure yet, he waved me off to the wall of samples. When I went on to explain that I had some options that I wanted to find out about, colors that didn't have blue or green undertones, he said "what looks blue or green to you isn't what looks blue or green to me. The samples are on the wall." and he then waved me off toward the samples, making no attempt to accompany me or help in any way. Yes, it's true, people see colors in different ways, yet there are definite formulas indicative of which colors each were formulated from, giving a clue to how they will project on a wall. Nothing replaces buying a sample and trying it in your own space, but also nothing replaces a good sales person who will take the time to offer assistance. Benjamin Moore is a good quality paint, and I, in return, expected good quality service. Not only was it not good quality, it was non-existent, unless one equates a wave of a hand amounts to help. I left disappointed, yet bought the paint at Sherwin Williams, 45 gallons of it. They lost a sale and a customer. Oh, and by the way, the Benjamin Moore store was empty, not a soul around but him and me. Even more shameful not to offer help!

Service here was out-of-this-world good. They had all the supplies in stock, took my order on the phone and carried it out to my car in 10 minutes. This business is proving it can keep customers and staff safe during Covid-19, while continuing their core business of friendly paint delivery. Thank you.

Amazingly nice staff who went above and beyond to help me. The guy helping me went out of his way to help me find what I needed at the Palo Alto store and communicated with them to get my order ready for pick up later that day. I appreciated how he trouble shootes the issue and found me a solution. He was very efficient as well dealing with many customers at once. Super happy this store is near I live!!!

Great customer service it may take a little longer during the summer. But always great people working there.
