I was having car trouble, so I googled a nearby shop and found this one. I was greeted by Jose, who was truly amazing. Although no work was performed on my car since he only works on Volkswagens, he went above and beyond to assist me. He listened to the issues I was experiencing, checked the codes for the check engine light, and even inspected the oil to ensure everything was in order. Jose seemed very knowledgeable and honest. If you have a Volkswagen, I highly recommend seeing Jose.

I've known the owner JOSE for over 20+ Years. That's how long my family vehicles have been taken to Jim's Automotive Repair. I just recently had my front suspension struts/shocks and all replaced total materials and labor $900. This would have cost me $2K total easily at the dealership. Jose is a man of Godly Character and he runs his business with the same standard customer to customer, no matter who you are. If you need car repair work, this hidden gem in the community is the go to place. God Bless you Jose!

Great family mechanic, took my girlfriend to get her radiator fan fix they had the car done the same day ready to be picked up and it was cheaper than other shops called.
Shorty after her radiator repairs my car started to leak oil took it to Jim's and it was just a oil pressure sensor costing me way less money than I was imagining in my mind.
I would recommend any friends or family to this mechanic.

Jim's Auto repair is possibly the best mechanic in the Long Beach area. The staff is very quick, efficient, and honest with the progress of your vehicle, not to mention the prices are excellent. I brought in my Honda with a busted starter after calling in for a quote, and they named a price about 300 dollars cheaper than the several other places I contacted for a price. Not even did they do an excellent repair for significantly less of a cost, they topped off my oil and checked the brakes free of charge. I highly recommend getting your vehicle serviced here if you can. I will absolutely be coming back to Jim's next time I need auto work done. Thank you to the staff for the excellent work that they do!
