Staff is rude they’re young. Obviously they don’t know what they’re doing especially Jenny that works there their children she even accused me of calling her an idiot which was totally off-the-wall. I asked her because my basket was full because I bought a drawer that filled up the card if she can hold it in the front while I get something else and she said no, I can purchase it and then bring it to my car and then go back in and I don’t make the rules. And then I was told if it doesn’t have a sticker on it they can’t sell it, but it’s on the floor for sale.

No fitting rooms, no exchanges and they didn't accept Amex. Some of the items are way overpriced. There was an item there that had a tag of $2 from the previous owner and then goodwills tag was slapped on there with a $19 tag.

No dressing rooms or returns? Don’t waste your time here if you want to buy clothes that fit.

Sandra needs to be fired. An infant in a carrier and a 2 year old boy were abandoned in the back corner of this store today. The parent left the store. When I told Sandra at the front she refused to help in anyway. I had to begin calling the police myself in order to get her to even acknowledge the situation. Another employee came and at least had the common sense to put a call out over the intercom looking for the parent's who then reentered the store and claimed their children. I simply said, Sandra if you don’t know what to do next time just go ask someone with more experience for help. Sandra at that point became very rude told me not to speak and did the zgen thing of beggining to pretend that I was being rude to her when I wasn’t. Allowing children to be abandoned and possibly kidnapped isn’t ok Sandra. Telling me I’m rude for asking you an employee for help won’t change that. Nasty little lazy liar.

I worked at this goodwill and I can say by far that the biggest problem is the managers/leads. They wouldn't let me even do my job without pestering me about the smallest thing I did that was wrong in their opinion. Corporate came by and I was expressing my concerns to them and STACY/lead came by and started listening in on my conversation to see what I was saying wrong about the store then proceeded to pull me into the office and tell me that I needed to not say anything bad about the store or the managers the problem at this store aren't the employees it's the managers/lead only person who made me feel welcome was the manager Randy. I wouldn't recommend anyone work or shop here. Toxic work environment and overworking their employees without the proper equipment! They had me working out in the hot Sun unloading cars sometimes 20 cars by myself and they would pester me if they felt I was taking to long I can't say how many times I was called into the office just so they can complain about what I was doing. I'm a hard worker and don't feel like I needed to be treated like this for minimum wage. Take my word for it and don't work here. Biggest waste of my time 6 months down the drain!

I go here most Saturdays during my dry cycle at Spin Cycle Laundry Lounge (?). Not sure why it's technically named Laundry Lounge except they have music (exclusively funk) and WiFi but as an aside it's the best laundromat. Goodwill stands alone in Lodi for being the only clothing store thrift or otherwise to still have their fitting rooms closed. It's so frustrating to see their well-lit fitting rooms closed with a poster saying due to COVID when that is just corporate bull****. I know it's challenging to manage fitting rooms but seriously everyone else is doing it. And you cannot return ill-fitting clothes you can only EXCHANGE them. What idiot came up with this? Goodwill, you can do better.

This Goodwill repeatedly doesn't want to sell their items. Everything has to have a tag, despite the fact that they "fall off a lot" according to every employee I've ever asked about a price, and I have also seen items be put on the shelves never having a tag at all. If an item doesn't have a tag/sticker, they refuse to sell it same day and expect you to come back for it the next day and it "should be out." Except, way too many items DON'T have tags. 4 of 5 items I brought to register today didn't have them when I grabbed them from the shelves/hangers, and I ended up leaving without purchasing anything at all. I've done the whole, wait until the next day ridiculousness previously for an item I really wanted, and when I went back the next day (as they told me to) just after opening, they said the item wasn't priced yet. When I asked when it would be, they told me later in the day and they didn't know when. I checked back later in the day, and couldn't find the item (never did get it.) Why can't they just ask a supervisor or whoever is in charge of pricing (especially when nearly everything in the store is priced at one of 3 prices) like nearly every other thrift store does? Editing to add: they also price items meant to be a pair separately very often. Bookends, candlestick pairs, I've even seen salt and pepper shakers done separate.

Rude customer service. Called and heard “Goodwill Lodi”“Hi! We’re just calling to see if your donation center is open today?”“*click*”We checked the website and all we were offered was a phone number, so very unhelpful and very unprofessional. Also AT the donation center looks like plenty of people just dump their stuff there (probably due to them not being open when they’re supposed to be) and people were free to pick through all the things.

I thought this goodwill was normal until I went to one in Arizona. That one had clothes sorted by size, and I realized how efficient it felt to shop properly at a goodwill. This Lodi location has everything all mixed up, and they only have Tuesday/Thursday discounts for military/teachers/seniors. No daily color tag discount like other thrift stores. It makes me think they're really just trying to grab up customer's money instead of provide the typical good thrift experience. 2 stars instead of one because I like their 25 cent book section. It's the only reason I'll set foot in the store.

They seriously need to open the fitting rooms again. Goodwill in Elk Grove has the fitting rooms open, it's silly they aren't open at this Lodi location.

Was very disappointed with my visit yesterday to the only goodwill in town and that’s close to my house. I walked in looking for jeans had about 10 pairs of jeans in my arms looking forward to trying them on, I get to the dressing rooms and NOPE, They Are Literally Still Closed! How?! I visited this same goodwill almost 2 years ago or so and Same Thing, I thought they would be open by now. I knew I should have asked before I waisted 30 mins or so of my time shopping around, all to see a sign saying closed due to Covid when I walked over, but yet there’s no signage on the entrance doors stating this, it would help alot of people coming to shop and try things on if they knew ahead of time. A lot of the other stores in the area has theirs open so I’m confused, honestly I feel like they just don’t want to clean or maintain the dressing rooms, that, or they are short staffed but still it would be helpful to let customers know right on the front door before we walk in. Most likely won’t return until dressing rooms are open. What’s the point of having majority of your store be clothing but yet no one can try the clothes on…
