I recently visited the Sherwin-Williams Paint Store and had a frustrating experience. The staff at the registers were extremely slow and seemed to lack proper training with the computers.
A particular incident involved a staff member who attempted to apply a discount to my purchase. While she showed me the discount on the computer screen, it was not reflected on the final receipt. When I pointed this out immediately after she printed the receipt, she continued to show me the discount on the screen, but it never made it to the actual transaction. Arguing about it seemed worthless, and I ended up paying the full price.
Overall, this experience was disappointing and has ensured that I will not be returning to this location. Better-trained staff and more efficient service are desperately needed.

Been to the store two times now and there website says they are open but when I get there the store has a sign saying they have closed early. Call before you go to the Lathrop store.

Visited this particular branch 2 days in the row for the 1ST time.Found nothing but amazing service.Marina and Ayla were both very special, pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and both of their great smiles and professionalism go long ways.High recognitions for those 2 young ladies, I will do my very best even with going out of my way is to use this branch as my preferred store.???

Very crappy store. Poor customer service. If you recently bought a new house and trying to claim the free paint coupon given by the sellers don't bother. They won't give it to you. 1st time I came, the guy said I need to know the contractor for them to find out the exact color. So I found out the name of the contractor and color name and number, went back ... he still said he need to know the product ... it's flat ... he says he can't make me the same color unless I know the product. He said he can make me something but can't guarantee it'll match. Don't waste your time coming here. They just don't want people claiming the free paint coupon here.

I've called 4 times today during store hours. First call was an instant hang-up. Someone picked up and slammed the phone. The rest just ring through. Apparently they can't be bothered. Then I ask my father-in-law about Sherwin Williams and he immediately starts shaking his head saying he called before and same issue. No answer. Really? You don't want business or what?

2 stars because they answered the phone and they're close by. I called them today asking if they have a specific paint in stock. I don't specialize in paint. I work in the medical field. So I'm calling for info. He asks me what paint is it that I'm looking for, and I'm reading off the paper that I got from my builder LGI. He then laughs hard as I'm reading the paper and as if I'm an idiot and then tells me that they don't go by the paint color! Left it at that. Hey SW employee who answered the phone, here's a fact: just because you work at a paint store and know about paint, doesn't mean everyone else does. Everyone in this world have other careers. I suggest if you don't like your job, don't work there : ) said

Worst place to buy paint bought some some paint there was thier color and brand did not match what i have before i brought it back to adjust the colorand manager didn't even try jusm making excuses just wsste my money for nothing try kellymoore way better customer service and they will help you more than this store just a shame whit sherwin williams in lathrop

The staff at Sherwin Williams in Lathrop was quick to fill my order and they always give me the best price they can get. I'm glad I use them. They have quality paint products.
