The first thing right off the back when you walk into the store is a smell animal feces. The reptiles are kept in very poor conditions multiple reptiles to one tank. Some snakes even kept little food containers. The reptile enclosures are very poor and bad and look like they just threw a bunch of stuff into tank and said “that’s good”. These people clearly don’t care about taking care of the animals or the animals well Being

Very knowledgeable staff, love the variety of animals that they bring in to the shop! They are very helpful, I live 70 miles away and I frequent the shop. They are also very helpful via fb for me too!

Terrible conditions for the animals saw lots of dead fish and the reptiles look like they're about to die or super under weight and unhealthy living in they're old sheds and poop and mold water bowls were dirty and had little water If any water in them definitely wouldn't recommend as a reptile breeder this place makes me sad wouldn't recommend shopping and supporting this animal cruelty

I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. The store always smells and the fish tanks are disgusting. They store their spiders and snakes in small plastic containers. This is the second time I've gone and been completely ignored by staff. Today I was the only customer in the store and the guy working behind the counter barely acknowledged me and couldn't be bothered to get off his cell phone long enough to assist me. I was going to buy a spider and all the necessary accessories but I will take my business elsewhere.

I've been going to Tails2scales for years and they've always been super knowledgeable about their pets and super helpful, I love shopping at this pet shop, I'd rather give these guys my money than go anywhere else for most of my pet purchases ? I'll be going back extremely soon to purchase my beardie baby ?

Drove to Lancaster from Barstow after seeing them at the Victorville expo, because they have beautiful snakes. We were so disappointed! The place was extremely dirty, spider webs everywhere. You could tell these poor animals haven’t had any TLC in a very long time, some of them looked like they were dying. The plastic containers you see them in at the expo that’s the containers they were in, they can’t even move. I am so surprised they are still open due to the conditions. They need to sell or give those animals to shelters or people that will actually care for them.

Great store great atmosphere great boarding experience great prices just had another recent visit there's some very happy and healthy animals in here there's some exotic animals with great prices also in here seen a blue tongue skink made me more fascinated deals on bearded dragons love the way they give you services insights on animals knowledge on how to take care and cater to your animals needs.
there couldn't be a better local place to get what you need at a great value price with the staff everyone loves

Got my Phid. Clarus from here a few days ago and I honestly only have good things to say about this place. They know their stuff, really care about the animals, and have a good deal on their feeders.
