Very poor customer service from the store manager Gabby Mendez. And this is not the first bad interaction I had with her but it definitely will be the last. To start I have been shopping at this location for the past 15 years. Today, I came in to purchase a radiator cap and while I was there, I asked the store manager Gabby about refunding a transmission gasket I purchased last weekend. After I installed it and torqued it to spec, the transmission was leaking like crazy, and upon removal I found the rubber to be very brittle and breaking in multiple spots. I expressed this to her today and she said that the only reason it would break if it were to get over torqued. I let her know that I torqued it to spec with a digital torque wrench and I know that was not the issue. She responded by asking one of her employees what would cause that and he also said overtorquing. She said there is no way that she would refund the gasket, even though I had not even brought it into the store for them to examine, they didn’t even see a photo of the gasket, I was going to bring it in later today. As I said before, this is not the first incident with her, she thinks that she’s above the customers and has very poor customer service. Not to mention you have to explain parts like your talking to someone new in the job for her to understand what is needed.On a positive note, I was able to go to the traffic circle location in Long Beach and they were very speedy and quick to service me and I let them know that from here on out they would be my go to AutoZone because of Woodruff location has severely dropped in customer service over the past three years and from my experience it was specifically with my interactions with Gabby Mendez.

Came in the to replace my battery and Jesus went above and beyond to help me. With the removal and installation of the new battery and even with the little things of helping me out with a worn out thread on one of my bolts to reconnect my battery. Overall the best experience I've had with any auto parts shop. Would come to this one again even if it's a little out of my way.

Manager Iesu says that they have never worked or service a 2016 chevy Traverse and not sure if they are able to change the light bulb. The model of my vehicle had been around for 7 years now and im surprise to be the first one to with this make to go to this location. Let me find out no one wants to work on a Saturday.

Went to the Woodruff location and wow customer service has vanished! Went in to ask for/about a battery and told her the type and she just looked at me and said “ok” so I said I need a H6-AGM battery again and she said “ok” !?! I said I’m handicapped and can’t carry it! I then asked if they still install them and she said “we’re short staffed and can’t do it” her whole demeanor was like I’m bothering her so I walked out ! Called another Autozone and asked if I buy a battery can you guys install. It and she said yes, so I went there to the o e on South St. and Downey and the guy there said “we can only I stall on vehicles that only require a 10 minute install and the computer says it will take 45 minutes to install mine so we can’t do it”! And this guy had that attitude face too! So I had to buy the battery and take it to my mechanic which was right down the street and my mechanic installed it in minutes!! NOT 45!!! Took the core back and just saddened by the lack of service, lack of proper communication skills, lack of wanting to help other with your expertise!

This store is a great place to go for all your car needs even when I need a part the didn’t have the were very quick to let me know they could have it there that day via a transfer. The cashier Noah was very helpful and very polite. He knows his stuff he even helped explain why my part could have failed in detail. I will definitely be going back!!!

Didn’t want to switch out my battery… claimed a part was in the way of the car battery. That it would need to be removed… brought my old car battery back … of course nothing needed to be removed just didn’t want to provide the service.

Closed the store at 9:54pm as they could see me walking up. Refused to sell me a headlight even though they should have been open. 4/25/23.
