Best gym I’ve been to!! Staff is warm and welcoming and the equipment is really well kept. I like that there are separate sections for hips and abs for more privacy, and the women’s locker room feels relaxing and cozy (never thought I would say that about a gym locker room lol). The spa and massage options for us black card members are also very nice. The value offered is way beyond what you pay for the monthly fee, even if you only make it once a week to workout. Highly recommend! ?

The best Planet Fitness hands down! The staff always have smiles on and say hello. The place is exceptionally clean..other gyms I have been to are somewhat discusting when it comes to shower time and this place is very clean...

Awesome staff, esp Eva and James. Super helpful. Amazing facility and I absolutely love the new equipment. Total home run. I can't say enough...the place is clean, it's busy but never over-crowded, and I run hot, so it's great that they crank the AC as well as keep the ceiling fans going. Well done guys!

I have always appreciated the PF facility, the equipment and the judgement free approach, but have been frustrated by the lack of a personal trainer. As a senior who has been away from regular exercise for a while, I would move from one piece of equipment to another, never feeling like I was optimizing my workouts and feeling a bit lost. Now I find PF does offer the help of a personal trainer. I met Josh Monday and he explained the program - and I’m all in! Josh seemed knowledgeable and personable and was sincerely interested my success. I’m very happy to work with my new personal trailer to get my routine, and my health back on track.

It was a terrible experience. My son and I went to cancel his Planet Fitness membership because he was heading to boot camp, which Planet Fitness did cancel. However, after five months, I noticed some charges from Planet Fitness. I called and spoke to the manager, Eva, who requested we come in again to cancel, which we couldn't do because my son is now in the military and no longer in California. Despite explaining the situation, Planet Fitness refused to refund the charges, even though we had canceled the membership due to my son's military service five months ago. I warned Eva that I would post about this on social media if they didn't honor our original agreement, but they didn't care. So, here it is: beware of Planet Fitness

In the last 6 months air quality has gotten very poor. I have COPD. chronic bronchitis to be specific. I've used this gym for about 2 years, but recently it's gotten so bad I have to leave within 10 minutes of entering somedays. They need thier a/c system serviced properly.
Both restroom scales are broken and different emoyees almost every month it seems. I'm guessing poor management at this point.

I've been to five locations in San diego. This is my favorite! It's the furthest away so I don't make it here very often. It's bigger than all the other locations that I've been to. They have heavier kettlebells then most of the other locations. The clientele are very nice although I find most of the people at Planet Fitness to be nice and helpful.

Planet Fitness is a gym that prides itself on providing a clean and welcoming environment for its members. And a big part of that is thanks to Hilda, one of the amazing staff members who works there.
From the moment you walk through the door, Hilda greets you with a warm smile and a friendly hello. She's always willing to help you find the equipment you need or answer any questions you may have. And if you're new to the gym, she'll even give you a tour and show you around.
But Hilda's not just good at customer service. She's also a hard worker. She's always busy cleaning the gym, making sure that everything is spotless. And she's always willing to lend a hand to her co-workers, no matter what the task.
Hilda is a true asset to Planet Fitness. She's a shining example of what it means to be a great employee, and she's always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that her members have a positive experience.
If you're looking for a gym with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend Planet Fitness. And if you're lucky, you'll get to meet Hilda and experience her amazing customer service firsthand.
