Been there for 2 yrs. Made the mistake of exiting the wrong gate. Then literally as my son as a witness, got physically threatened by the golf cart guy. Ironically the only reason I went out that gate was to complain about the squatter in the stairwell and the renter that runs a bike shop from his unit blocking access to my unit. Made this complaint 3 times in the past and nothing being done. The woman in the office ignored the abusive employee and even watched it. All she commented on was I exited the wrong gate... Her worker walked to my car window, started a argument and then did the "fake punch" thing ala jr high school. Good rates ain't worth the nonsense

This place is a trap; ESPECIALLY the free month deal which targets lower-income individuals and surprises them with hidden fees. The practices employed here are under-handed, paranoid, and hateful toward people. I was helping some friends with special needs move after essentially being homeless for awhile and the general manager, Phillip Guerra was rude, cold, and showed that he cared more about his position than he does for the customer...BAD work ethic and morally bankrupt. But enough about that, here's how this system works: The upper management most likely responded to their recent pest invasion issue by over-correcting. Instead of just handling the issue with pests, they decided to put in strict rules and unclear penalties that less-affluent people are more likely to ignore or not regard. For example, if you think that homeless people are living in your units, you gotta impose strict closing times, charge for using the trash, charge for not putting carts back, charge for not cleaning everything you touch, etc. They really "care" about people don't they? If you want a good review: love, or at least pretend to genuinely care, about the customer, and at the moment, this place does not. Stay away from this place like the plague.

The blonde woman that works on Saturday was very rude and would rather talk on her cell phone about her personal life than help customers. I waited for over 20 mins and finally walked out.

It's a NICE place to storage some things that are overstock at home. Unfortunately they have rodents and they byte any container that might have something in the interior if it's liquid, spills all over the place you are renting.

Friendly staff they always go the extra mile to help you out. Units are very large and they don't raise the rent every other month like alot of the other places. In fact their rates are very reasonable. My only complaint is that the gate hours could be longer. Other than that I have had my unit for several years now and I am very happy with the U - Store on Front St in Lake Forrest.

Thus far everything is great here. Only the hours need to be a little longer but other than that. The staff I have met are super friendly and helpful. The storage lockers are normal as any other storage facilities and they have numerous lockers to pick from. Price is a little high but then again I am the one who chose them they didn't choose me. Obtaining a unit was like checking into any hotel. It only took less than 5 minutes from beginning to end.So just to clarify this. There has not been any issues with any locker nor have I heard of any problems such as rodents. The place from front to back and from side to side in and out of units are very very clean. The maintenance man sweeps all the halls and all the roads every single day that I've seen thus far and I have been there every morning for past 6 mornings since I opened my account with them.The two staff members I've met are friendly and very helpful. So I would like to say Thank you to the two and keep up the good work.
