This review is long overdue. Just wanted to express my gratitude towards The Dawson Cole Museum and in particular Jason who made my family feel extremely welcomed during our road trip to Laguna Beach. Not being locals we were particularly excited to come on a weekend of which Laguna holds its annual art walk. To our surprise it was extremely dead in regards to attendance and most galleries closed early that night. We managed to view about four galleries of which we encountered staff who seemed uninterested in engaging with us due to the lack of attendees. Once we reached the Dawson as our last stop the vibe completely changed for the better as we were presented with a great collection of the most unique sculptures and paintings. Jason, who was managing the gallery that night, was extremely inviting and attentive towards my family as he was super enthusiastic to talk about certain pieces. We instantly felt right at home as we were able to not feel the pressure of having to get in and out as quickly as possible. We even got some great recommendations on some local restaurants and bars that we visited that same weekend. I am deeply thankful for the warmth and hospitality of the Dawson Cole team. Thank you so much for making our trip memorable and fun!

Things you do for love--stand in line for 3.5 hours for the hottest ticket in town! Yes, we stood in the standby line for Dawson Cole Fine Art Gallery & Sculpture Garden that long along with scores of people. We even got there before opening, but the line wrapped around the building and into the parking lot by the time we got in line. My husband really wanted to visit Dawson Cole Fine Art Gallery & Sculpture Garden and, though I've been there once before, good wife that I am, I patiently waited with him.

we stumbled upon this little garden by pure accident and i was ecstatic that it was open to the public. the sculptures are so nicely made and the actual garden feels secluded from all the hustle and bustle just a street away. if i'm in the area again i'd really like to make my way inside the gallery and see what they have to see. if you want to enjoy a quick 5 minute break from walking the city, i highly suggest stopping by here to enjoy the art.
