I have been attempting to refinance my home for 5 years* with Viking, initially with Bryan Harms and most recently with Tom Velken. Finally, my numbers looked good to proceed and Tom made the process, although very detail-oriented with a forest's worth of documents as painless as I could have hoped. His experience shows as he is very efficient and complete in organizing the plethora of paperwork. I'm really pleased with his work as my refi was complete in less than 45 days! Thank you, Tom! *The 5 year figure does not reflect on Viking's credibility or efficiency, it reflects on my financials finally being within spec to refi.

We have used Viking Real Estate Group since 1996 for several Mortgage related activities from refinancing and home equity lines of credit to our very first mortgage. We were referred to Tom from our realtor who told us that he was "the guy you want". She was right; Tom has been a great adviser and partner through all of the transactions we have completed over the years. Tom Velken just recently helped us refi our mortgage. The process went very smoothly. I had a conversation with Tom before we began the process and he was VERY knowlegeable and was able to answer all of my questions immediately, without having to get back to me later. The process for the refi was very efficient and took many fewer weeks than I had expected. Tom is great. He's been helping me refi effectively over the past eight years. He's helped us save $$$$$!!!!! I highly recommend Tom.

I first refinanced my house about 10 years ago and it was such a time-consuming hassle that I vowed to never do it again. But in 2010 when mortgage rates dropped to an irresistible low, I caved, went online, plugged in my information and was bombarded with calls from fast talking lenders whose rates and conditions were less than desirable. Instead of giving up, I asked a trusted person and he recommended Viking Real Estate. Best advice ever. Viking makes the refi experience a pleasure. Bryan and Tom are knowledgeable professionals who provide exceptional customer service and bend over backwards to look out for their clients' best interests. Bryan got me an awesome interest rate in 2010. Then in 2011 when interest rates dropped even more, he did it again, with minimal effort on my part. Viking gets five stars, my total confidence, my repeat business, and my continued referrals.

Our refi experience with Bryan and their staff at Viking couldn't have been better. They were informative and timely in their responses to our questions and we appreciated their honesty in their recommendations and guidance through the entire process.
