“Love hanging out here. It's great for breakfast and lunch. Loads of people watching food and just an all-around pleasant vibe. The herbal and supplements department is top-notch, and there's so many wonderful nitch stores. Also has parking a big plus.”
“If you don't already shop at The Food Mill, you should start. It's a health food store that's been in Oakland since 1933. My current obsession is their crunchy peanut butter. You get a giant jar for under $10. It's freshly ground, so fluffy, nothing is added, and no stirring is needed! They also have a thousand bulk items, hard to find ingredients, fresh baked treats, lots of tasty fake meats, and the staff is so lovely and helpful.”

1776 Arnold Industrial Way Suite E, Concord“Been here a few times and they have been very helpful with giving me suggestions and variations of products that fit me the best. They have always been friendly and courteous, will continue shopping here.”
“The staff is friendly and helpful, just make sure you get there early. I walked in 10 minutes before closing and they said they were already closed. I had to go back the next day.”
“This is a satellite version of Whole Foods if you are used to the larger ones with more options. Fruit selection is tremendous here. They don’t have a dedicated full service specialty cheese section. So don’t expect to get any Holy Trinity Gouda here. But there is an 8 ft attempt to appease cheese lovers. Overall good store I will return.”
“I love this store! Everyone is always so friendly and there are definitely good deals here. Check their website for monthly coupons! I enjoy every time I come in!”
“I shop their early morning M-F. Walnut Creek store. Semi-retired. Bicycle there so I really like the AC in July. . Produce like apples is from CA. vs Costcos generally not local. Good price on 365 brand organic pasta sauce.
This store has a better produce selection then the smaller one in Concord.
The "gourmet" cookie ? bar by entrance is addictive.
Their boxes of choc chip cookies made in Canada....
Taking advantage of fav US$-$CAD exchange rate.
I think some of their cheaper bread ? from Canada.
Prices generally comparable to a food co-op that I shop in in Seattle.
WF organic potatoes cheaper then a bag of Safeways.
Refreshing break from Costco!

4156 Piedmont Ave, Oakland“So glad that we stumbled upon this place. They have crystals, trinkets, candles, as well various teas and homeopathic items. I personally suffer from PCOS and western medicine items such as BC and such do not work for me and so I wanted to check the homeopathic and natural way. They had 2 different teas to help with PCOS and as well a ground up root that you can sprinkle in your tea or food. I am on day 2 and so I will see if this starts to take affect in the next month or so! Crossing fingers.”
“Honestly I only come here for the sandwich you can't beat it. Where else can you customize a sandwich for $5? It's my absolute favorite lunch when summer comes around.”
“Great vibe, very clean and bright, good varieties of products, from fresh produce to wines, from frozen food to hot meals. It is a pleasure to shop at this store.”

“This store looks much newer than the other store on telegraph, in Berkeley, and I really liked the local selection here as well. The only problem is that it's at a somewhat major intersection in Temescal and so traffic, and finding parking are both usually harder here at street level. Normally you can find a 10 min spot on the street though.”
“I've been going here for over ten years. The majority of the staff is really friendly and helpful. The store is a bit on the small side so the selection is less than in the bigger stores.”

55 Crescent Dr, Pleasant Hill“I was in dire need for amino acids! I ride a bike hard weekly routine. My fitness level for burning calories and weight loss for optimum levels of pro performance. Zinc magnesium for restful sleep and anabolic support. So I like to spend more on cardio swimming laps and gyms with vitamin supplements that enhance my mental focus! This is why I bought a Pro member ship year round rewards benefits package to support my shopping experience in GNC! Nutrition experts see maximum benefits for me and I feel great results and less responsibility to deal with in social situations when others have hidden addictions and anxiety. While eliminating my risk of injury so preventing pain and suffering in my workouts!”
“We stopped by Whole Foods on the weekend to purchase some items since we had manufactured coupons. The parking lot was busy but we were able to find a spot quickly as people kept coming in and out. When you first walk in, there are self check out station and a guard. There is also a customer service station allowing you to return your Amazon packages. Inside of the store, the aisles were not labeled according, so it was tough to locate many items that I was looking for. Even though it was a busy store, the items in the store is always stocked and cleaned. While using manufacturer coupons at checkout, the customer service representatives and other store customers made me feel unwelcome and it felt frustrating. I carefully planned my budget and since some of the coupons were not taken, the total went over the roof. I would definitely go back if their customer service representative is trained better.”
“I don’t ever leave reviews but the customer service was great. I believe there was two people working I’m guessing a manager (male) and maybe a assistant manager (female) either way they were both helpful, let me browse without being all on my back and more importantly were very informative. They signed me up so I can get cash back rewards which is cool as much as I train and travel I fly through products so it’s good to have. 10 stars to the service -@kofamuse”
“Each time I shop here I am more impressed. It is just a delight to experience such outstanding service. The staff is so helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond to make sure I am finding everything I need or to answer any questions I may have. It is a bit of a longer drive for me compared to the WF in Lafayette but the Lafayette store has disappointed me for the last and final time. Twice I have paid for items that never made into my bag. Neither time was I apologized to for my inconvenience. The last time I was at the Lafayette location, two employees were in a loud verbal altercation right next to me. Then the deli gal was arguing with a co worker while helping me. Then the sliced salami she gave me was all wadded up in a ball. There was no way I could serve it so I had to throw it in the trash. I could share at least 5 more bad experiences about the Lafayette location but more about the Concord store. Clearly the Store Manager values the staff here and they are happy and they put the customer first. Keep up the good work. I will continue to drive a longer distance to have a better experience and reduce the stress of shopping at the Lafayette location.”
“I live this location in many ways. However I don't know why there is no little variety at the hot bar. I used to pick up lunch or dinner several times a week. But same old meatloaf, samosas mac and cheese gets.old fast. Bring back more dishes please.”
