It is horrible customer service. And their delivery service is beyond horrible. I have a flooded washroom, hallway carpets soaked within the two bedrooms, the hallway into the living room, hall bathroom and into my living room. This happened because the installers put the washer and base together, removed the old washer, but upon seeing a small bit of corrosion the installers refused to finish the install. The installers had disconnected all hoses, this included the discharge hose to the water softener. Upon the softener cycling it flooded. I contacted the delivery/installation company and they stated they didn't have an order to install and because there was minor mineral buildup. My mobility impaired husband and a friend who has a heart issue had to install the washer. They (husband and friend) were unaware of the other hose had been disconnected. It took approximately 3 hours to clean up

Bought a GE Profile All in One that broke 4 months in. GE has sent people over about 4-5 times now and has not fixed it. We're in month 3 with broken unit. GE is denying sending people over not creating new tickets for all but 1 of our service visits. Lowes says they can't do anything about it. They sold us a bad unit and no one wants to resolve this issue. It's not a small purchase. We've spent almost $600 at the laundromat since and still making finance payments on this machine. Are we getting pranked? The machine is under warranty for a couple more months and all GE has to do is keep wasting time. What are we supposed to do? How can we trust to purchase any appliance ever if we're basically just gambling whether it works or not? Do I need a lawyer?

This Lowes is without question, the worst big box retail location I have ever seen. Employees that fail to engage, hide, and ignore. An abissimal out of stock problem. Poor price representation. Awful merchandising- Concrete products in mutiple locations for example, with patch items hidden on a three foot metro rack in the corner of the store and the smaller tubs in the paint department. concrete outside with the lumbar. Every single section with multiple small items is always a merchandising mess. example- plumbing and electrical. Out of stocks, sku's all mixed up, poor price representation, missing items. The Lowes in palm desert on Monterey is great. They also appear busy. The Home Depot in La Quinta is always busy. This past weekend, the visit that inspired this review, I ditched my cart and went to Home Depot. The self service checkout had at least 10 people in line. The store was packed. the Lowes was dead. Who is overseeing this store? I spent twenty years in the grocery business and can't fathom how this is happening. The organization I worked for would never stand for this type of retail execution. I realize that the Coachella Valley is a very challenging demographic to run a store due the local workforce and seasonal nature, but this store just oozes incompetatnt leadership.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service! The employees hide or look super busy to avoid any contact..???!! My wife and I are budgeted to spend over $7k on a bath remodel. Home Depot worked up a plan for us.. we decided to. Or even give Lowe's a chance to bid on our project. Why? They don't deserve a cent of our business. I am afraid they wouldn't stand behind anything .. I am afraid I wouldn't be able to even find someone to bring an issue to! Signed, A disgusted ex customer!

Since Yelp reviews really do make a difference when it comes to trying to decide where to spend your money and where not to, I felt compelled to leave this review for anyone who is about to purchase flooring but is not sure where to go or how to find good help. We are currently flipping a property and needed about 3000 sq ft of vinyl plank wood flooring to be delivered to the property asap. My husband found the tile we needed on clearance and went into the Home Depot in North Indio to place the order. What should have been a simple and seamless process turned out to be nothing but a waste of time because every employee had a different idea as to how to complete the order and not one of them was able to actually do it. $4000+ worth of flooring and no one could figure out how to get it done. Needless to say, hubs was pissed when he left with no flooring order and I was the lucky one he chose to call to rant to about this negative experience for the next 10 minutes... Yay Me! Feeling defeated, he thought he would give it 1 more try and headed over to the Lowes in La Quinta to see if he could get them there. To his shock and surprise Donald G. appeared before him, clearly sent from the flooring heavens above, because within minutes of hearing what was needed for our flip, Donald got to work finding similar flooring, scheduling a prompt delivery date and seamlessly fufilling the flooring order with ease. My husband said his customer service was amazing and wanted me to post a review to recognize the job well done. Big chain retail stores like Lowes don't know about the Donald G's unless people like us bring it to their attention. His quality customer service is few and far between these days and I honestly felt like I would be doing a disservice not to recognize it by posting about it online via this Yelp review. So if you are in the need of flooring and quality customer service means something to you it does to Donald G as well, so do yourself a favor and head over to the Lowes in La Quinta, I think he is in the flooring department but you can also just look for the salesman with the halo above his head and angel wings spread really wide behind him because according to my husband, he was awesome and beyond helpful. I should add, that the hubs was so impressed with the difference in customer service that he went there today for supplies instead of HD and while he didn't see Donald G. anywhere he received the same type of help and friendly disposition from the person that helped him today so LOWES CORPORATE... if your listening, whatever is in the water over there that these employees are drinking you need to bottle it and sell it because they seem to be setting the bar high when it comes to quality care and customer service and it is very much appreciated.

Homeowners beware !! Contractors beware!! There's a reason for the Yelp reviews. Be sure to call to follow up on any online orders shipped to La Quinta Lowes. Do not trust the Lowes app for accurate shipping info! We placed an order to be delivered to La Quinta Lowes, the order showed shipped on 8/7, in store on 8/9, and on 8/16 we were notified the item was never shipped by the vendor, Dreamline. Had we not called corporate to follow up on other order issues, we would have never known the Dreamline vendor never shipped as the vendor stated it was. We were then told another 2 weeks wait for shipment from Dreamline. An absolute horrible customer experience that has not only resulted in contractors being placed out of work, but our rental property remains closed for an unknown amount of time while we wait for our Lowes items. Giselle - good customer service Juana - tried her best, gave misinformation Ana - waiting for a follow up call Lowes Corporate customer service - thank you for not abandoning me. Being loyal to Lowe's really hurt our business, as well as our contractors ability to work and gain money for their families.

I purchased a washing machine from La Quinta Lowe's and during installation by a third party agent a water line was damaged. My local Lowe's was forthcoming on how to submit a claim. At every step in the process they were courteous and helpful and I was reimbursed for the damage. I dealt with Jonathan Moore of the management team and I commend him, employees I encountered, and the customer service staff for their competence and attentiveness. Look forward to continuing business with this store.

Wow I'm shocked to read all these one star reviews! I love going to Lowe's verses home depo! I always get great service and everyone is so nice. A wonderful young man in the garden department not only got me plants snd soil but walked me to my car carrying an umbrella over my head two days ago during a downpour. Then I went to the lumber department when another really nice young man got me gravel, tar , and sticks for my trees. All while I sat snd waited and then he rang it up and loaded my car! This is unbelievable service in todays times. This was the La Quinta store but I also like the rancho mirage store as well. I hate home depo where I get no service at all. Thank you Lowe's!

Twice in the paint section I've needed help and had questions. One years ago and another recently. Both times the employee was knowledgeable, helpful and patient. Recently Juan helped us and recommended some products. He hadn't used one product but still he was knowledgeable and it seems he did some research or had some inservice. So far so good! I wish I could remember the other employee's name, but haven't seen him since. Other employees I have interacted with (especially in the tool section) have also been helpful. It's much appreciated when the employee actually walks you to the product you are looking for. Kudos to those employees.

One star for Dulce the cashier. She held up a long line because she felt it was more important to explain over and over and over again how much each item cost because the customer was an old lady. I'm waiting in line for ten minutes because of this incompetence. GET YOUR LINE MOVING

I preordered a new refrigerator. They called me the day before and told me my appointment was between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. They arrived about noon. One gentleman came in the house and unhooked the water supply from the old refrigerator. He went back out and assisted the other man in unloading and unpacking the new refrigerator. They moved it to the front door via hand truck. They then went in and with straps, carried the old refrigerator out of the house and took to truck. Then, using the straps, they picked up new refrigerator and carried it into the kitchen. They hooked up the water supply and plugged in refrigerator. They then installed the handles and gave me all the instructions to use my refrigerator properly. Then they finished loading the old refrigerator and left. Most painless delivery I have ever received. The delivery personal were perfect gentleman. Good Job, Lowe's!

Horrible customer service, employees walk past you and avoid making eye contact. Say by the gazebos for 15 minutes, asked for help, waited another 15 minutes. Never worked so hard to give someone money. I left, I can find these products elsewhere and get some help while doing it

As usual, minimum wage workers that would be better suited digging ditches. At checkout, no bags or empty box's offered or available. Even Costco and Sam's Club at least gives those away. But boy oh boy, checkers are quick to ask you if you wanna open a Lowes Credit Card. I responded "sure, if I can get a box for my cart full of stuff" , which again the answer was no. Back to the Depot for now on..

I needed to purchase a washer and dryer for my new home in the Palm Springs area. I was still living in Pennsylvania at the time and it was difficult to find a store that had the models I wanted in stock since I needed the appliances quickly. The Lowe's in Palm Springs assured me that they had the models I wanted in stock and set up the delivery. Unbeknownst to me the Palm Springs store did not have the models in stock and the La Quinta Lowe's made the delivery. In January I began to have major problems with the washer and contacted the manufacturer - GE, who told me that my washer was out of warranty and informed me that it was sold a year and a half before I purchased it. I immediately called the Lowe's in Palm Springs and explained my situation. I didn't receive any satisfaction, so I took the ball bearings that had fallen out of the washer and drove to the store to make my case in person. It was then that I found out that the La Quinta store actually handled the delivery and that I needed to take up my case with them. I drove to the La Quinta store and spoke with the manager on duty who assured me that "I can get things done". After six hours of frustration I left the store confident that if I didn't get a new washer, at least repairs would be expedited. Wrong! After exchanging several emails with this manager over the course of two weeks I was no further along than before and I had no way to wash our clothes! I finally called the Lowe's corporate number and explained the situation. Of course, more waiting while they " investigated". Fully frustrated at this point I called Lowe's corporate again and was connected to GE customer service who promptly informed me that they did not perform warranty repairs in my location. A third party would have to come out to do the work. While waiting for them to contact me to schedule the repair I looked them up on line and discovered that they were D rated by the BBB and read numerous customer complaints that this company routinely claimed that the customer caused the problem with their appliance and it was not covered by warranty. There was no way that I was letting anyone from this contractor into my house. I finally gave up and purchased a Maytag washer and dryer from another vendor. I'm also out the money I spent on the extended warranty plans that I purchased from Lowe's. There's no way I'm going to go through all that red tape again. Oh, and I never did find out if the washer was sold, returned and then resold to me or if it sat in Lowe's warehouse where it was jostled around for 18 months before it was sold to me. I clearly was not at fault here, had to do our laundry at a laundromat for two months and neither Lowe's or GE did anything to alleviate the situation. Bottom line - don't buy your major appliances from Lowe's and shy away from GE as well. Totally dissatisfied!!

Lowe's shipped me the wrong washer and drier then refused to take it back. They use a third party fulfillment that ships the product. When the washer and drier arrived I told the delivery agents that it was the wrong product. They said to call in and report it and then ask them to come back out and change the doors around. They did not offer to take it back. The second delivery agents came out and couldn't change the door around but managed to steel other appliances we had outdoors on our property. My husband saw our items in their truck and asked them to put them back. At no point did they offer to take it back but again to call the fulfillment center. I called the center and asked for a return but they couldn't help me since the manager of the fulfillment center needed to call me. He never did. When I followed up again I had a manager in the call center talk to me like I was an idiot asking me why I didn't refuse the product to begin with when that wasn't an option. I never had a CS person talk to me and degrade me like Serena did. I have spent over $50k at Lowe's and was just going to order a kitchen through them for $30k. They lost my business forever as well as my families. Do not shop here, they will ship the wrong product from another company and then won't return it and talk to you in a disgusting way.
