“I’ve lived in la habra for over 10 plus yrs and I regret not knowing about this fish store! I’ve been going to Patrick’s(owner) fish store for about 2yr. Patrick is really a kind down to earth guy! He has a variety of fresh water fish and specialized in discus and Angel fish, which he breeds himself! If you’re around la habra or live in la habra go visit West Lake Aquarium for all your fish keeping needs.”
“Great little place. I went there based off of old reviews not knowing what to expect. I meet the owner and he began explaining to me the quality of his fish. The difference between a good fish verses a high quality one. They are from two different farms in Japan and he had different size fish. One take for this years fish, another for last years and so on. I told him that I was just starting my pond and wasn't ready to go straight to the high quality fish. He picked for me the best quality fish he had that was within my budget. He gave me many tips to maintain and grow my pond. I will be sure to go back for the high quality fish when I'm ready.”
“Overall, the grooming service provided was satisfactory. However, it would have been more convenient if there had been clear communication regarding the notification process for when the grooming was completed. To avoid unnecessary trips back and forth between the car and the store, I would appreciate more transparency in the future.”
