This is a great school! Out son has been going there since for about 3 months now. The classes are small and the immersion is great. The principal is a french native and the teachers speak french from various regions of the world that speak french! I am so glad to have been able to find a french immersion school close enough to bring my little one.The staff is caring and the little community is great! Other useful info: students need to bring their own lunches, no microwaving or such. There is one hot lunch provided by the school once a week. Kids bring their own sleepsack for nap time. School hours from 8am-4pm with a 15 min window. There are some random staff development days when students end up not having school.

L'héritage français is a wonderful school ! The staff and teachers are so caring and my 4-year-old daughter is absolutely loving it ! She is sad leaving the school on Fridays and excited to go on Mondays ! I tried to speak French to her at home but she was not consistent in replying back to me in French. In just 3 months she was holding full discussions with my parents on video chats, singing to them and she is just so excited to be fluent in another language ! The activities she brings home are all so fun, you can tell that the teachers are putting a lot of thoughts in what they are teaching the kids ! I love the low student-teacher ratios and the very strong academics.I can't wait to enroll her sister next year. This is truly a wonderful school with competitive tuitions rates, you won't regret enrolling your kids there !

This school is AMAZING! My grandson attends this school and is now fluent in English, French and Spanish. At 9 years old, he can read it, write it and speak it. Yes! In all 3 languages! The staff are all caring and the school is extremely clean. If you want a quality education and a staff that truly cares, this is your educational home! Bonjour!

I absolutely adore this school. My child began at L'Heritage Francais without a French background and quickly flourished. The dedication from the teachers is Second to None. The French Immersion Program has benefited my child's overall development in more ways than I can count. The smaller class sizes, especially in the latter grades, allow the teachers to fully prepare students for high school level French while still in elementary. If you are looking for preschool which will challenge and encourage your child to new heights- Congratulations, you just found it!

We enrolled our son in the pre-school at L'Heritage Français, and he is now in 1st grade there. We love the school, so much so, that our daughter will be starting in the pre-school soon.I really like how he learns half of the curriculum in English and the other half in French. In just a little over two scholastic years, he has begun speaking, writing and reading in French. I speak French (but never did with him before he started learning it in school), so it's fun to see how he's become conversationally fluent in such a short time. The new La Habra campus has a gymnasium, science lab, brand new computer lab and library where the kids can check out both a French and English book each week. Maybe best of all, there are small student/teacher ratios. The students are a close knit group, and the parents and staff help create a community that feels like home.If you're looking for a great school, French immersion, or even just a great pre-school, L'Heritage Français is a wonderful option!

My daughter began the preschool at 2 years 9 months old, she had been at another preschool and we had looked into Montessori schools in the neighborhood, not only was L'Heritage spotlessly clean and well organized but the price is extremely reasonable. We immediately changed preschools after spending a day observing the classroom environment and how well the teachers worked with the kids. It is not simply a day care, it is a full curriculum. Couldn't recommend the school more! After two years my daughter became fully fluent in french even though we don't speak it at home.We have loved it so much that we enrolled her in the elementary program which is run half in English and half in French, and runs through grade 6. We have spent time with other relatives who have children the same age and what is covered at the school and the level of instruction is evident in my daughters progress. All classes are capped at a max of 18 students and the school offers many activities including choir, science lab, and full computer lab. We will be enrolling our second daughter in the preschool as soon as she becomes of age.

I researched many schools in the La Habra and Whittier neighborhoods, but I found most of them to be disorganized and not very clean. I came to an open house to L'Heritage from a friends recommendation and what a difference! The kids are in a new school with plenty of space, the teachers follow a lesson plan even for the 3 years olds and encourage their development. Instead of babysitting which I have seen most school I have observed do. After finding the price and the flexibility of the schedule which allows for half day, full day, part time or full time and even after school care, it works perfectly for my working schedule. My daughter did two years at the preschool and has started the elementary program which is bilingual English/French. Teachers are caring, the campus is new and clean. I encourage anyone looking for a preschool/elementary school and likes small class size and the idea of child becoming multilingual to defiantly come to L'Heritage

My wife discovered L’Heritage Francais in 2001 when she was looking for a pre-school for our son. She was impressed with the way the students treated each other with kindness and the staff were warm and friendly. That positive environment continues today. We now have three more children attending L’Heritage Francais ranging from pre-school to 2nd grade. Our children are learning French at an amazing rate. We love seeing our children reading, writing, speaking and singing in French! The staff is truly professional and caring. L’Heritage Francais really has a family feeling to it. It is a wonderful school that we highly recommend!

We first joined L'Heritage Français in 2010, at that time we wanted a good preschool but we wanted a school where our daughter could start learning and not just a daycare. We were very impressed not only by the clean campus and small class sizes, but we noticed that all the children were very engaged in their classes with their teachers and peers. Parents are given the opportunity to volunteer on campus which allows you see what goes on in the classrooms plus you get to know the classmates and parents. We now have 2 daughters at this school, one in 1st grade and the other is finishing 6th grade, we are beyond blessed and grateful for this village who has helped us raise them.We are a non-French speaking family however, both of our daughters are completely fluent in French now and excelling academically in all areas. The teachers here have encouraged our daughters to not only excel in what they do but to be strong, kind, thoughtful, confident and conscientious about their friends and environment. In 2010, we did not fully realize the gift that we were giving our daughters with the dual immersion language program and today we see all the benefits in our girls.L’Heritage Français is a very diverse school and it is not uncommon that many students speak 3+ languages. If you are looking for a preschool, we highly recommend that you at least take the time to tour L’Heritage Français in person. See attached sample pictures of a book my daughter wrote and illustrated in 5th grade.

Our daughter is now a graduate of L'Heritage Français. We are so happy that we found this program. She started with the preschool program, not speaking any french at all, but the full immersion environment was perfect, and the teachers were so caring. She started speaking french in no time, and as she progressed through the grades she became fully bilingual. There are so many great things about the school. While, of course, there is complete french immersion, English and other academic subjects are also fully addressed. I, myself, am a math teacher, and my wife is an English teacher, so a complete academic curriculum was important to us in selecting a school. Ever since graduating from L'Heritage Français, our daughter has been placed in accelerated/honors math, science, and English classes. She continues to do well into high school, earning straight A's in every class. We are so thankful for her experience at L'Heritage Français. The teachers are so nurturing and creative. They really inspire the students to love school and love learning. They incorporate art, music, games, and field trips into learning. It is really a complete experience, and it has a real family atmosphere that includes parents. We have recommended the school to friends who have young children, and all of them have been extremely happy with the school. If you want a nurturing, caring environment, combined with strong academics, this school is an easy choice.

Absolutely love love L’heritage Francias preschool! I have been so impressed with the teachers and their creativity. Their new location is absolutely beautiful. I haven’t seen any other school in La Habra that comes anywhere close to the quality for the price! Highly recommended!

My daughter has been attending L'Heritage since she was three years old. The moment we stepped onto the campus, we knew we had found our daughter's school. The dual immersion program is what brought us to L'heritage Francais, but there are so many more reasons that we stay. The small size of the school allows children to be more of a family than classmates and this closeness continues to the staff and families. I truly don't believe that there is a better environment to learn. Students are not only bi-lingual, they are bi-literate within a few years. We are a non-French speaking home, but have been able to take my daughter to France once a year the past few years. It is amazing to us, that she is able to communicate and translate information to us while we travel. (Not too bad, considering she is only seven.) The school not only has high academic standards, but focuses on the entire development of a child. As a public school teacher, I never imagined such a place could exist.
