Cleanliness: The shop is always clean and quiet.
Stylist: Tracy the owner did my nails. She was very nice and I respected the fact she wanted to make sure I was happy with my pedicure.

Two ladies who helped my sister were nice and capable. The lady who did my manicure was just okay. My nails are uneven. The lady who did my pedicure acted like she was doing me a favor by being there. Never spoke, never smiled and barely did a passable job. I spoke to her and was nice, but she remained unapproachable. Definitely not an enjoyable visit for $140+. Won't go back.

Unfortunately it was a very poor experience, the woman that did my pedicure was completely unhappy, she was informed by whom appeared to be the owner of the business that she would be doing my pedicure, she became upset because she wanted to do a manicure so, I was doomed, I was so distracted by the whole exchange that before I knew it she was using tools on my nails that didn’t seem to ever come out of a sealed bag (disinfected) I am pretty certain they had been used, scary. The lady that appeared to be the owner, seemed nice enough but very abrasive
with her employees, she did my manicure and it was a very quick transaction. Can NOT say that I will return, just not happening.

Worst nail salon. Dirty tool, unsanitary environment, and literally double dip back into the pot when they are waxing you. Disgusting.....shut this place down!!!!

If i could give this place negative stars I would. I never write bad reviews but this place was just SO awful. First of all the nail techs were so rude and the overall experience was terrible. Second the way they did the service absolutely ruined my nails and they are so they thinned down and are breaking. This is the third time I have been to the place so I feel I have given it a fair shot and I highly recommend to never go to this place. If you are looking for a great nail place in la cañada melody nails is great, the services are well done and the nail tech are super friendly and nice.

Quick, friendly walk-in service. Left an item overnight by mistake. They retrieved the item and had it available for me the next day. I'm grateful.

TRUST the reviews. I didn't look here first and I regret it. I just walked in as I was going to TJ Maxx and they had availability. The owner was reprimanding a male worker off about something. Then as my service was ending she started yelling at a young woman--something about the "service costing 65 not 60, to read and that if she would have read it she would have known". It was the most awkward and embarrassing feeling to see a full grown woman being humiliated in front of me. I got up and told the nasty owner to not speak to the worker in that manner, especially in front of other people. I told her to reprimand her in private because what she was doing was humiliating. No one else in the shop said anything and probably the reason why the salon is able to stay open is people's complicity in the owners rudeness and bullying of the employees. If you do happen to come here, see something, say something. It felt like I was in a third world country where a rich master with no education or class harasses and shames their workers. Never again. I could tell the other workers were glad someone finally stood up to that tyrant.

The female owner, Tracy, is not rude. She is just serious and hard working and does not talk much. She is watching over everything that goes on in her business and she is very conscientious about her work. She gave me a great gel manicure. There is no blasting music and background noise there—just piece & quiet and I like that.

Look if your looking for a warm welcome from owners not going to happen here. They aren't friendly, almost bothered to give you a service. Place is dusty dingy, and the gel nail samples look busted. Now do I go here yes, why? Because I need my nails done for my job , and they charge me 35$ for a gel manicure, 40 if they take my gel off which they often do . They almost try to convince you that any mistake they make is the correct way . I don't get anything fancy , just plain gel. To sum it up Owner is terrible. Work is fair but it's weird because when I'm there she has regulars !! And I see her treat them that way and they have set appointments with her!! I need a new spot near this location but can't find one.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went in for a pedi cure and my nail was filed so much it pierced through my skin on three of my toes. The nail tech tried saying that it was the material I had previously and that my nail broke. My toe nail had a hole in the middle of the nail. My big toe was also pierced. The tech filed my mail so much it pierced three of my toes. The tech tried putting crazy glue on my wound so it would stop bleeding, are you kidding me !!! She still had the audacity to try and blame me for her mistakes. Do yourself a favor and stop going to this place.

It’s really unfortunate that ownership is so callous and rude to their paying customers. If you own a service business and work with the general public, you should expect people with all sort of different experiences and walks of life and people shouldn’t be made to feel ashamed or belittled because YOU have preconceived opinions about them. And, when confronted in a polite and private way, dig in and continue to disrespect someone that is trying to perform an act of self care by seeking out your services. Nail salons are a dime-a-dozen, and if you don’t want to respect your clients, that’s your business, but don’t expect it to last.

Female owner made fun of my disability and harassed me through my services…. the nail service was also not good. The male owner lies to avoid responsibility. Neither owner would claim that they were in charge of the nail salon, the female owner even claimed she doesn’t even work there although she has done my nails before recently. Don’t trust these people.
