I don't understand why they close access to the PO Boxes after 7p. I work late and and I liked getting my mail at night because there was no crowded parking lot, etc. Never in the 5+ years of having a box there have I ever seen people loitering there at night. Now I have to get to my box in the middle of the day with all the mindless pedestrians that don't even bother to look when crossing the lot and people getting pissy with each other because they're trying to back up from the parking stall.

Great post office, but its always busy here and not enough staff (thus 4 stars). Most staff are nice. I like that this location has a drive thru mail drop, super convenient. Collection times are 12p and 5pm.

Worst Service Ever!!! When trying to retrieve my mothers mail being an authorized person on the account, they refused to go and collect my mothers mail for me. They required my 76 year old mother to bring me the key so they wouldn't be inconvenienced to have to walk over the mail box and hand it to me. I was told this was a FORMALITY. They lied to me that this was the rule when I've had to do the same thing on previous occasions at the other Irvine post office. Then the other front desk employees also lied to me that all the other supervisors were home for the day when I tried to complain about this. The supervisor Lynn could do better!!!

This is my go-to USPS location even though it is not the closest one to me. The building and lobby are well maintained and clean. The staff here though are the gems, they are genuinely helpful, kind and don’t seem like they hate their jobs—what a welcome change from what I had come to expect at most locations. Lynn in particular at the front counter has been very helpful on multiple occasions. I love her!One minor gripe (but is it?): I used to be able to come here during off hours to check on my PO Box; they now have the whole thing locked up and only accessible during business hours. It’s less convenient, but much more secure. It’s a drawback I’m willing to live with and I could see plenty of people loving this feature.

The lobby hour is great, but why they close so early on weekend? We need to work on weekday. The post office serves the people, we dont serve the post office.

For Irvine, this office is pretty gross. Trash is littered all around the premises. The lobby needs a deep cleaning. The employees are far from friendly. You can't even use the drive-up mailboxes anymore - they're all taped up. The USPS should be ashamed of this location.

Both self service machines had errors processing payments on Sunday afternoon. I tried three different cards and both machines. The machines failed only after I entered all the information to send three packages. If it is out of order, it ought to say so at the beginning.

I don't remember the name of the man who helped me at the front, but he definitely left a last impression. So helpful and understanding and he listed to me and helped me solve a postage problem. Seems simple, but a lot of other post offices don't seem to show the same level of customer service.

The employees are super nice but the important thing is that when I drop labeled parcels it's missing a lot. Especially for big box parcels almost 10% are missing. Even though I drop the parcel perfectly, always shipping status is stop on creating label which means they didn't even scan it. Please aware that for valuable parcels never drop the parcel on the basket.

Very disappointed with the customer service. I witnessed an agent assist a customer, by lending a small piece of tape for their package. I requested the same Assitance and was turned down. I don’t have an issue taping my own package I have an issue with inconsistent inconvenience customer service agents.
