I went to Norm Reeves Honda Irvine on 9/16/23 looking to purchase a 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport-L and specifically the Sport-L trim level. I worked with Salesman, Mureed and Ali, the sales manager, in negotiating the sales price. We could not agree to a price so we shook hands and I left. On 9/17/23, Ed, another sales manager, calls me and asks what he can do to earn my business. I told him that I wanted a 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport-L and asked if he can meet me at an out the door price of $40,000. He said he didn't have the specific color I wanted, but could make a dealer transfer and we had a handshake deal over the phone of $40,000 out the door if I came back to the dealership within the next hour and a half. Upon arrival I worked with Mureed to look over the same vehicle, but in white color to decide if I'd like to drive that one home or have the color I wanted delivered the following day. I decided to wait for the color I wanted, and we began to draw up the paperwork. My credit was checked, and I was passed to the finance manager to complete further documentation and process my payment. While the finance manager walked me through the trim level details of the vehicle, my credit card payment was processed, and I asked to see the exact trim aspects from the vehicle that I was going to purchase. Then Ed, the sales manager comes in and says that what I was purchasing was the Sport trim level, not the Sport-L, and if I wanted the Sport-L I'd have to pay the $3000 difference. I told him, why would I come back to pay the same exact price they offered the day before. The only reason I came back was because they were willing to sell at a lower price. I had no intention and gave no indication of wanting the trim level below the Sport-L. Norm Reeves Honda Irvine pulled off a classic bait and switch. I voiced my displeasure and was met with little apologies, asked to process the refund to my credit card and left.

A Nightmare of a Dealership - Beware, and Run!If I could rate this dealership in negative stars, believe me, I would. I implore anyone even remotely considering purchasing a vehicle to take their business elsewhere. What transpired during our visit to this establishment this afternoon left me with a taste so sour, I can't help but share my harrowing experience.Our ill-fated interaction revolved around our pursuit of a Honda CRV Touring. They assured us they could locate it at another dealership and honor the agreed-upon price.In good faith, we allowed them to run our credit and went over monthly payment details. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, another sales manager, Samir, materialized and inquired if there was any chance we might settle for a Black on Gray model that they did have on hand. Our response was a firm and resounding "no," as we had already locked in our agreement.However, that's when the plot thickened, and our trust was shattered. Samir informed us that they couldn't sell us the car we had initially chosen because the other dealership wanted to trade it for a different vehicle they had in their possession.The colossal question mark that loomed over this debacle was why, oh why, did they even bother running our credit if they couldn't uphold their end of the bargain? We had been clear from the outset that our commitment to this deal hinged on securing the Black on Black car.To add insult to injury, this torment lasted for an excruciating three hours of our lives spent at the dealership. Three hours we'll never get back.To say that this experience was a nightmare would be an understatement. The lack of transparency, utter disregard for their commitments, and the utter waste of our time have rendered me not only disillusioned but downright furious. Rest assured, I will not grace this establishment with my presence ever again.

My service representative was Nathaniel Arce and he was awesome a 10 plus out of 10! He took care of my 2016 Honda Civic air conditioning problem. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything perfectly to me and was able to answer all my questions. He also was able to order new tires for my mom’s Accord and schedule an appointment to install the tires and change her brake fluid. Nathaniel got me a complimentary ride home while they fixed my car. He was super friendly and was willing to go above and beyond to help me. Also when I called him later in the afternoon twice to ask a couple of questions. I was amazed he answered the phone immediately both times no voicemails to have to deal with and I got an immediate answer to my questions. I highly recommend Nathaniel and I hope I get him as my service representative in the future. Amen! I have cold air again no more suffering when the temps average 90 degrees. Thank you Norm Reeves, Nathaniel and the mechanics for your great service! ?P.S. They washed my car to. ❤️

Just purchased a 2024 Honda Crv , and this was the best and easiest process I ever had in any dealership. Sebastian and Samir took very good care of me and made sure I got the best car with the best deal.

There are very mixed reviews about this location, but I had a great experience. My boyfriend and I went in not particularly looking to buy a car that day but then after looking at some cars with Mark Ataling we new that this was the person we wanted to help us find a car. He is very transparent and friendly and we were able to build a great connection. After picking out the car we wanted there were many extra fees that we were not previously informed of which was a bit disappointing. However working with Mark we were able to come up with a price that worked for all of us! Will definitely be reaching out to him if we need another car.

I found a used car on Autotrader that was at Norm Reeves Honda. The listed price was a really good deal. I attempted to purchase the vehicle and the sales manager found every excuse that he could not to sale me the vehicle. I worked with a salesman on the phone for hours providing information. I wanted to pay cash for the car and was told that the only way to purchase was through financing. I told them that I could pay for the car outright and was refused. What type of used car lot doesn't accept money from banks? Don't waste your time with these guys.

Arbenz went out of his way to accommodate our needs in getting the vehicle repair in a timely manner. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the current recall issue with the AC condenser problem. He gave us a detail explanation of the results and explain the warranty coverage... Definitely a five-star service, good attitude and in my opinion a great asset to this Honda dealer !!

Perfect place if you are craving that old sleazy used car sales experience. They will get you in under false pretenses, change the terms of the deal, make you wait while they get their “manager” then try to upsell everything else they can pack on.Bought the exact same vehicle for $7,000 less at another dealer. That price was more in line with they quoted to get me into their shop.

Went in after calling and speaking to the sales manager. I wanted to order a 2024 Honda Crv Hybrid with the colors and package I choose. According to the interactive Honda Website you can build the Honda you want. I had previously bought a car from this dealership and have used their service department for oil changes and routine maintenance. Never again! I was offered $6,000.00 less than KELLY BLUE BOOK on a mint condition trade in. Also they wanted $5000.00 over invoice sticker price. It was if I was being devalued instantly. Complete scammers with little or no integrity. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

A person who claimed that he is an expert accused me of deleting the code before bringing the car to a customer. The car already completed its drive cycle multiple times since I drove it since I purchased. These people are fishy. Probably they are just promoting their cars. This shows how honest they are.Edit: I learned the name of that person Chris.Edit: I tried to reach out to the number they provided. If you check their replies, they are all the same. I couldn't reach out to a person to talk about this. This place is a dishonest place, just trying to manipulate things/people.

The Service I received from Sebastian was beyond EXCELLENT! He took his time to explain and look closely to my needs. This is the kind of service every dealership should have and offer! Chris said that my car was coming from an auction although Carfax doesn't say so. And he made many more guesses which were very negative to me. He also didn't let me talk. I found this guy very rude. What's happening to these people? Why are you not kind enough to listen or talk with data instead of making things up?I do not recommend this place!Edit: Sam gave me a call. It seemed that Honda is cool with the review. They are okay to manipulate things and tell the lies and do everything to sell more cars. Unbelievable!!

Never will I buy from them again. 3 free keys turned out to be $300. Free Sirius radio for three months. Oh sorry no one uses that anymore. Didn't even give me the contract paperwork at the end of the deal. I had to have it emailed to me a week later. No one was available to speak with the day after I bought my car. Finance ripping and tearing paperwork oh sign here never again.

I chatted with a lot of Honda salesman the last two weeks not thru phone calls but emails. Because we have had bad experiences with salesman in the past when buying other vehicles. Bryan Michel was extremely patient with me and respected the way we email communicated. Even if the sale falls through ?, I would highly recommend him to anybody else. He is an excellent face for the company and an asset to your organization. You are lucky to have him as a employee.
