“My daughter and I had a very special interaction with associate Chrissy yesterday. My daughter was literally silently sobbing down each aisle we went through. Chrissy noticed and asked if she liked stickers. Chrissy also asked me if my daughter could have a lollipop. She took my daughter to the front of the store, gave her a lollipop, some stickers, and coloring pages. Also told her about Ringo the raccoon hiding somewhere in the store. As a thank you, my daughter wanted to give Chrissy a ceramic miniature ducky. Chrissy seemed genuinely touched, asked if "Ducky" liked flowers and that he would be placed right next to her flowers at home. She also told us tomorrow (today) was her birthday and so this was going to be her very special duck. It was such a sweet interaction, definitely turned things around for the remainder of errands my daughter had to tag along with. But, store #37, you guys have an absolute gem in Chrissy! Hoping she has an amazing birthday!!!”

“CUTE STORE ! My wife and I weren't too happy with the parking situation at Trader Joe's on Culver Drive so we thought we would give this location a try. On Saturday, Nov 26th we had a very busy day stocking up on stuff...this was our 2nd stop. At least finding a spot in the public parking lot wasn't a problem when we arrived around 3.15pm. We bought mostly the usual things on our Trader Joe's list......pack of kumatos, 2 x large 2 % lactose free milk, 1 x quart whole milk, roasted tomato focaccia, ciabatta demi baguette, greek plain yogurt, can of crushed tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, organic diced fire roasted tomatoes, heavy cream, 2 x 4 packs of ciabatta rolls, chopped spinach, asian pear, bell pepper, jalapeño pepper, bananas and 2 x red papaya. Quick and easy at the checkout !”
“Gelson's has better quality meats than WholeFoods and Lazy Acres. If you like good quality grass fed beef, Gelson's is the best. I highly recommend them. I'm a fan.”

Produce: Teeny Tiny Avocados are the ideal portion sizes; better than leaving half in the fridge and for it to brown Frozen: Too many to name! Meat lasagna, seasoned waffle cut fries, mac 'n cheese are my three must-gets Bread: I'm always satisfied with their sliced brioche, Garlic Indian Style flatbreads, and everything bagels Desserts: Also a long list, I usually pick up cookies, Hold the Cone! mini cones, and a box of dozen macarons Spreads, sauces, seasonings: Speculoos Cookie Butter! Everything But The Bagel blend! Three Cheese Pomodoro! All smash hits Snacks and Refrigerated foods: Again, we'll be here all day This isn't my favorite location. Parking spots have a thirty minute time limit. Produce quality could be better. They were out of a few things the last time I was here, no plantain chips to be seen. And as much as I like Trader Joe's, they miss the mark sometimes. Chicken Tikka Masala barely comes with chicken. I don't like the ube products. They had the worst tasting sushi of any grocery store; glad they got rid of that. But overall I enjoy most of their products. Gotta finish the song... when shrinkflation bites, When that product recall email stings, When I'm feeling sad (because I'm here for the millionth time and I still can't get my hands on a roll of their frozen kimbap) (and they discontinue my favorites like Joe's O's, chocolate covered sunflower seeds, and Gorgonzola crackers) I simply remember my favorite things, And then I don't feel so bad!”
“Don't be fooled by the dates on the Chinese products. They're the production date and not the expiration date! The store has many Asian snacks and beverages not available in the U.S. Big selection and they also sell Sonny Angels, though they sell out quickly. Checkout is done through their app, so be sure to have it installed.”
“By the deli area, they have an Asian food store, where I ordered Chicken Fried Rice and they made it to order as I watched. It Was DELICIOUS !!! and it was a lot of food. “This is an awesome little market situated within The Village apartment complexes! It is super convenient having an all in one mini mart stocked with produce, dairy, different meats, grab and go meals, and fresh, rotating hot meal options. The workers are always super friendly many of which I know by name now and are accomodating with any questions. It is pretty busy around lunchtime as it is also near a lively corporate center of Irvine so many people will come grab lunch - be prepared to wait up to 15 min as there is usually only one person making/serving food. Some of my favorites are their cuban sandwich, pesto chicken sandwich, pesto/hawaiian pizzas, but most of all their kebab nights every Thursday and Friday night from 5:30 - 9! If you've never gone here during kebab nights you need to make it a habit to. The entire area gets super lively and residents will come out to enjoy their drinks and food as well as the DJ's music!”

“Food has changed so much since the “beginning” days. It’s still good but not “amazing good” like it used to be. The chicken is a bit dryer now, the salad is not as fresh and the vinaigrette is more sour. The dressing used to be more perfectly balanced and so good, I wanted a bottle of it at home but it’s just overly sour. The bread was burnt. I hate when good restaurants don’t stay consistent. Either case it’s a healthy good lunch, just miss what it used to be…(Irvine Spectrum location)”

A lot of popular items like produce and pet food tend to stay on for long, but there may be times when you may not find what you came here for. “Cant say enough good things about this quail hill location. They are inclusive in hiring, which as someone who works with those with unique needs, fills my heart with so much joy. I have never had a any bad interaction with any staff member. I have gone twice when it has been my children's birthdays and they have gifted my children something that has made them feel extra special! I mainly do grocery pick up(for over a year) there have only been one or two times ive needed a refund (and thats just human error that i probably would have made myself shopping like not double checking expiration) . “Very authentic. It has a deli which has a great variety of sandwiches and food. It also has a small kitchen that provides Persian food and the Persian food are different varieties and they are really well made. It has a bread baking oven and it creates authentic Persian whole wheat flatbreads. Also it's produce is very fresh and has a very good meat section.”

“Walked into the store morning of a Charcuterie party I was helping host, went over to the cheese section and was greeted by an employee named Daisy. This was my first time delving into the world of cheese and she was FANTASTIC! Daisy was very patient, she walked around the entire cheese aisle going over the different cheeses, what paired well with each one, which would combo well, etc. Felt like I had hired a professional charcuterie maker!
