CLOSED. Sadly, this business is now CLOSED. Another great neighborhood staple (following Ruby's Diner) lost due to Irvine Co jacking up their rents so high that they make it impossible for companies to survive. It's disgraceful to do while we're still in a pandemic. Like so many, I will miss this place. Now the closest B&N is the behemoth one in Irvine on Jamboree at the Market Place. Sigh.

This place is liquidating. Or at least shutting down and selling all their inventory, since some items have disappeared without me seeing them go on sale below 50%. As of the time I went there they had liquidated most items down to 75% off, with magazines being 40% off. There were some other people there but my observation of them was that they mostly looked around since most of the stuff remaining didn't contain a lot of popular material. There were some comic books left though. There was no line at the time so I paid for them and left. It was final sale according to the cashier.

This location has been here forever! It's a smaller one by any means but it works for this shopping location. I've stopped in here every so often. It's not as busy and you can still browse the books and read a couple if you wish. Prices are the same as other B&N so I usually just browse. My nephew & I will hang out here for a bit to read a couple of the books. If you need something from here, this is the location as long as they have what you want. Less crowded and plenty of parking. SYOY.

They didn't have AC working. I mean people really go into book store to shop and let's face it, escape from the heat ?

This so far is my favorite location. The workers are very good. I didn't get that pressure to become a member like I get at other locations(I'm looking at you Aliso Creek Rd) I understand the corporation makes them ask. But the cashier didn't push it on me when I declined. She had a very good attitude.

I love coming here. Not only are the ladies here so nice, but the location is great. It's conveniently located right by North Lake so if I pick out a book, I can read it bu the lake with a drink from the cafe around the corner The Lost Bean as well.
