Very nice place for grocery shopping in town! A bit pricey compared to other places, but the quality is better! Plenty parking spots is the added bonus!

One of the best places to get Chinese and Asian canned foods and grocery in Orange County. It also has a bakery but the selections are not too enticing.

This Ranch 99 has a nice deli compared to other ones. You would think all Ranch99 markets would get all their meats from one common source , but in reality I noticed each market may get them from different sources and even different countries . In this market , I was surprised to see their flank steak beef coming from Mexico instead of the USA ( see photo)

We bought a 50lb rice when it was on sale! We love it when items are on sale. Be sure to get a reward card so you can use it when it's time to redeem!

This store is remodeled and there’s a hot deli at the front of the store that’s pretty good (since Sam Woo next door closed). The prices are higher than Zion or Hmart for fresh fruits and vegetables, but you’re able to find more Taiwanese products here.

Chinese New Year stuff is fully stocked with red envelopes, sweets, fruit and cookie gift boxes, and decorations. You won’t find Taiwanese squash (aka loofah squash or okra or si gua 絲瓜) at a Ralph’s, Trader Joe’s, or Whole Foods! I found them here at 99 Ranch because they’re in season (winter). They were well wrapped, not bruised. Also, what kind of Calpico do you want? All the Calpicos? Done. (Strawberry, Mango, Original, Melon, and Lychee Calpicos) The meat and butcher section has so much variety. The traditional cuts are available, but there’s also duck and rabbit.

I went to buy " fresh" durian that was on sale for $9.99/pound. When I open it, it was not fresh, the skin may look fresh but the inside is not. It was prviously frozen, the center part is so mushy. I know this because I have bought many durians and know the difference. Beware when you think you are buying fresh, it might not be fresh at all. It is expensive fruit to buy.

Been to this location for years. The shelves have not been fully stocked for the last couple of years, felt more empty. The prices are not as good as it used to be and not many things on sale. Went back lately, the store seemed to be much more fully stocked than before and lots more sale items, I guess in anticipation of the Chinese new year next month.
