My dog Ripley went through training with JD and Brian, and they were amazing! She came back like a different dog - more confident, better behaved, but the same sweet heart. They did an incredible job with her.

Sit means sit (especially Bryden) definitely changed my life. I have two golden puppies (litter mates) and i have found it extremely difficult to train them. I did spent almost 3 months training the boys at Wags and wiggles and all their bad behaviour remained unchanged.Having done the 10 day training with Bryden i can say that the boys are so much easier to handle, so much more confident in themselves and understand every command. Bryden did share videos of the progress throughout the whole process and was always available for a message or a call when i had any questions

I was blown away by the knowledge of the company! We sat with the gentleman he explained everything and he even has his trained dog with him and he took us outside to show us how great their training works! We were blown away on every command that dog listened! We are totally interested in their ability to train our dog Blue

I have a highly reactive dog who has been difficult to walk and lunges at people and other animals. I had tried a different trainer and while I was able to finally walk her, she continued to pull, lunge and show aggression when others came within 20 feet. I couldn't board her and had difficulty finding dog sitters when I would need to travel . We are still in the early stages of training, but I have actually been able to walk her using only her collar and leash, with her vibration collar, and she has been calmer when others are in my home. We still have work to do, but she has really been responsive with our trainer, Brian, and I have seen progress.

Turned away from Saturday training. We paid for these classes and turned away because too many students. Poor process in place for notifying paid members. Should be a transition period where they make room until everyone is made away if the change.EDIT: since I made this review/complaint, Sit Means Sit owner and employees made sure to address my concerns. Original review was 1 star, since then I’d have to say 5 stars on their resolving transition to online reservations. Most of all, making sure that my dog and I felt like part of the family. Thank you for everything you do for our fur babies. If I could give more stars I would.

We’re finishing up our first session of training with our newish lab. She was chewing a lot, not listening real well, but she’s a smart pup. After doing training through SMS we are on a path and she now listens and behaves even better than our other dog. Now we’re going to have to do training with him too!

I think the only “downside” to this is that it is quite expensive, but the difference it made in my dog is night and day. It not only made my life and my dogs life more peaceful, it also allowed my dog and I to bond more and I think that is priceless! Definitely recommend to everyone.

I am the proud owner of this handsome goofball, Odie. I didn't know how quickly he would grow, literally went from 7lbs to 70lbs in a blink of an eye. He used to fit in my arms, now I fit in his and I am 5'6". When I started working double shifts during the holiday season, I wasn't able to be consistent with training on my own. After some research, I came across Sit Means Sit in Huntington Beach specifically, and scheduled a free consultation. I chose to enroll Odie in their 20 day board and train program, and even though our time apart was brutal (for me), I am so impressed with the results! He's so well behaved now, he walks beside me instead of running ahead and dragging me along, he sits automatically when I stop walking and he doesn't flip with uncontrollable excitement when there's anyone or anything around us. He gives me his undivided attention and sticks beside me indoors or out. Odie's primary trainer Bryden took such good care of my little giant, they look like best friends in the update videos I received thrice a week. Bryden also took the time to celebrate Odie on his 8 month birthday, since I wasn't able to personally, and sent me an adorable picture (attached). Sit Means Sit in Huntington Beach is not just a training facility with excellent trainers, it is a whole second family for my little Odie pooh, thank you Bryden and everyone at Sit Means Sit HB!

WOW this place has literally changed my life. I have a total of 4 dogs, now (3 when I started the program) 2 pugs 15m and 4f, and 2 german shepherd puppies 1f and 7mo.m. I never in my life thought I would have this many dogs at once, but with Madison's help I feel like they can do anything with them. My pug went from being SO BAD, she would run away at any open door, bolt out of my apartment or out of the car if I wasn't holding her, zero recall. I lived my life at a constant 80% anxiety at all times, now shes off leash 100% of the time and I trust her completely! When we started the program it was initially for my GSD puppy to learn basic obedience - she did so well we ended up getting a 2nd GSD puppy to keep her company! Now all 3 dogs are so well behaved its unbelievable. If you are scared of the e-collar, trust the process, trust the trainers, it will make your life as well as your dogs so much better. THANK YOU SO MUCH MADISON you have literally changed our lives. She is hands down the best trainer they have, we love working with her. Shes incredibly knowledgeable and understands the GSD struggle! ?

Bryden, a trainer, is great! He was extremely knowledgeable, was patient with me & all of my questions and my new rescue dog. He followed up to discuss training, start date, etc. Offered one payment option that may work for some households. My only wish is they had a more affordable, shorter, beginner training for those of us on a tight budget. Don't mistake this, their full training and post-group unlimited training is no doubt awesome and no doubt worth every dollar!! For some, it may be out of financial reach (or owners are too cheap and feel its not worth it). I know differently ?.Cannot wait to start working with them as soon as I am able so my dog can be trained by seemingly the best! He just needs more focused skills to be his best.See you soon!

Everyone at Sit means Sit has always been so kind and helpful while training our puppy Onyx. They have helped me train him to be an amazing dog. We are continuing his training for his CGC and Therapy dog. Onyx loves going to his training classes and all the trainers. The training guidelines are easy for the people to understand and Onyx has picked up everything quickly. I am so grateful because of them, their guidance and patience I now have an obedient dog and we are just beginning our journey. Once he is a therapy dog, he will help change people's lives and that is all thanks to Sit means Sit. So thank you so much.
