I've been to this HB a number of times over the past 7 years and I've come to a conclusion: if you're not white go elsewhere. The workers here are not only rude but discriminate against non-white. On many occasions, I've witness them giving a different level of service to a white person versus me an Asian. They must assume that Asians cannot speak English or not honk at their fifth grade level thinking skills.

Honestly worst HD in OC. I'm always at Home Depot's all across Orange County and this one by far has the worst customer service. Just a bunch of old people ignoring specific customers. (All non white) I heard a paint guy I believe was named Ramond call a lady La china which translates to the Chinese lady. Completely inappropriate, his female associate corrected him and he just walked away. Last week there was an older Caucasian man at cashier and I asked him three times if he was open and he just stared so I started putting my things on the tabletop. He began scanning and the entire transaction was silent. No hello have a good day, nothing. And he was talking to his coworker just fine before I walked up.Today I went in and asked three people for help all from the paint department and one ignored me, the other just pointed at a wall and said on the right (surprise, it wasn't on the right) and the third just stared at me. I hate pulling the racist card but it really seems that way! The guy next to me got walked to where he needed to be and I got pointed. This is the closest HD to my home so unfortunately this won't be the last time I'm there but I might just take the long way to the next closest HD moving forward.

Worst customer service Home Depot in Huntington Beach. The workers here frankly don't give a rat ass for service. 5 times I've done curbside pickup to knock out some time out of my busy schedule and 5 times they don't answer and Im having to go inside to pick up the items and wait in line. Would not recommend this Home Depot

Linda is the absolute worst and is clearly too old for the job. She held my entire order uo because a part costing .70 cents didn't have a barcode on it. She made me go back for it and kept my order at the front. By the time I got back she had a line. One of the other cashiers offered to help me and Linda interiors him yells at him "No, they're mine!". So there I am waiting 30 minutes in line while she makes conversation and blames the old computer for being too slow. What's lame is every time I try to avoid Linda and go to the self check out, she basically redirects me to her line. Avoid Linda, the oldest employee this HD has, as she is (barely) living proof that social security is failing this country

I bought one of the BBQ units they park outside in front of the store. I wheeled it inside, paid for it, then proceeded to wheel it to my car. This HD employee comes up to me to offer me a hand to load it into my van. After loading it, he asked to see my receipt. I didnt' have to, but I happily showed it to him cause I had it and got nothing to hide. I'm sure he thought I was trying to steal it, and he said "I'm surprised that you showed it to me. Most people won't." I think the store manager ought to review their policies of profiling their customers.

This has become the spot I buy my Christmas tree from each year. A few years ago after purchasing my tree, my car battery wouldn't start in the parking lot and I went inside to ask for help and was told employees aren't allowed to help because of liability reasons. That was not fun, but luckily a man in a truck parked nearby and he was nice enough to jump-start my battery. I was very impressed this year by Home Depot's plant selection in the Garden department. I got my husband a fiddle leaf fig that was almost as tall as me for $36! Also there was a very nice customer in the measuring tape aisle that recommended which Stanley product to get as a gift, which was time-saving and appreciated. I've been here plenty of times for random needs like spray paint or a shower drain snake and it's always been a positive experience as parking is easy, checkout had been quick, and items are in-stock.Will continue to frequent and recommend to others.

Did an online order & delivered it to the store. Went to pick it up and the box was severely damaged. Got home and opened it up (it was a metal bed frame) and it was dented all over and couldn't be used. Why did they even hand this to me ?

I have been waiting for a refund for over a week. 3 different stories from 3 different people. Manager told me basically you will get your refund when you get it. Might not be a lot of money to them but it is to me. This is the first time I have had a refund issue and am extremely disappointed in their attempt to resolve my issue. This experience has me considering another store for future home repairs. Thanks for nothing Home Depot.

I got here five minutes before 10pm on a Wednesday night to Desperately replace a paint brush that broke on me and to my shock, this place was closed! In fact there was even a gentleman on a forklift that was moving things out by the gardening area that drove up and told me that he thought they were already closed. I understand this was cutting it close, but it's unacceptable. Store hours are until 10 PM and my item was very simple and I knew exactly where it was located in the store. With the remaining five minutes before store closing, I could've retrieved my item and been checked out. I immediately tried calling, still before 10 PM, yet nobody was answering the store phones, not the paint department nor the general assistance I was redirected to when there was no answer from the paint associates. I watched a group of sales associates walk out the door at exactly 10 PM to go home. The counter at my work is open until a specific time and it never closes early to the public. This isn't the end of the world because their lack of following the rules didn't cost me anything but my respect, it is a disappointment.

Never been so disappointed in a box store in my life! Looking to purchase 12 planter boxes, found one on the shelf. Ask for assistance from a cashier since I could not find an employee. She paged someone and than stated, see that lady she can help. I approached the woman, told what I requested and she checked her phone for the vp boxes. She stated that the computer showed that a pallet had more on an island, but that the island referenced did not have any pallets. Said the Costa Mesa store had 12. Than I went to the tile section to purchase tiles for three bathrooms for a remodel. No one could be found in the tile department. Found someone and they paged an employee. Waited 20 minutes and no one showed! Asked two others staff members for help, but was told they were too busy to help! Good to know Home Depot is doing so well that you can blow off a cash paying customer! Good by Home Depot! You'll never see me again or my money!

When the employee guarantees this is the part I need, guarantee with absolute confidence, and it's the wrong part you get a one Star So now I have to pay $10 in gasoline to return a $4 electrical plug. Next time I'll search myself. Enthusiastic assistance does not make for expert advise.

Was looking for a tool cart. I am clearly disabled and I was clearly not finding what I was looking for as several floor people walked right past without asking if I needed help finding something. I finally stopped one who seemed out out but said he would go page someone for help. I heard the page but after 10 mins nobody came to help. All the while more floor people just walked right past me, clearly not busy with anything else. I left and when I got home found a better version of the item online thru Lowes w free delivery. This HD location is always like this. Never again.

Ordered something over three weeks ago and still haven't received it. HD has no idea where it is or why the delay.
