I'm visiting from out of town and stopped by this store today. I had a blast! Julie, Carrie, and Hannah are fabulous sales women; they know their stock and they gave honest, sincere, uplifting comments on outfits. I was there for 2-3 hours and purchased a boatload of beautiful outfits. When I find a store that fits my age, my attitude, my body and my budget, I like to shop there regularly. I live in a small town and we don't have Chico's so I took advantage of this trip. At one point it got really busy in the store and I started helping other customers just for the fun of it! I give this store five stars, more if I had the ability.

I walked in and was immediately confronted by a staff who sharply asked what I needed. I said Xtra large and instead of welcoming me in she said their xtralarge would not fit me. I was shocked by the confrontational style. To the person who previously complained about possible racism, the problem has nothing to do with you. I am lily white. She did not even suggest accessories. I was carrying more than $400 in merchandise from the store next door. Of course I left immediately. Your loss.

I have been taking my mom to Chico's a couple times a year regularly. Today we were helped by a woman named Lisa who made the entire experience pleasant. My mother has dementia and she can find shopping and the entire process of selecting and trying on clothing overwhelming. Lisa was very friendly and helpful. There was no pressure to purchase anything, but we did find some pants that fit her perfectly. I appreciate this store specifically and even though Lisa wasn't aware of my mom's challenges, she made our day.

This Chico store employees are selective In giving services to people who enter this store. How you dress up, look, Color of your skin does matter in this days and age.

Honestly, I am perplexed by the negative reviews. I shop at Chico's a lot. Not just at the Huntington Beach store. The staff at the Huntington Beach store has always been so polite, friendly AND helpful. I understand that they can be busy, and they are all doing the best they can, so I don't get insulted if they don't jump at me the minute I walk in. The manager Lisa is always attentive, and very, very friendly and customer service oriented. She is a delight to see in this location! Some of these bad reviews are about trying to return an item over it's 60 day return date, or returning a Final Sale item. This is not the fault of the store manager or the staff, this is a Chico's corporate decision. There isn't a store in the USA that allows returns for a Final Sale item. Why leave a bad review for that? You had 60 days to return something. It's not the staff's fault, it's yours.

Chico's used to be a high quality friendly store. I received a $39 bracelet for mothers day, it was very large and did not fit my dainty wrist. I brought the bracelet into this location to get an exchange and the cashier Ruth proceeded to treated me like a criminal. Mind you I was wearing about $200 worth of Chico's clothing at the time. But no, I was a criminal in the eyes of the store manager Lisa Craig and the clerk Ruth, when all I wanted to do was return a mothers day gift, a $39 bracelet. I used to be a loyal customer, in fact about 4+ female family members shop Chico's regularly. All I can say is keep away, staff are terrible and they look at you like you're a convict. I was treated kinder, and had better service at Walmart. I am never going back, how dare they not exchange an item without a receipt, I just wanted a smaller size. Don't order from this company you will lose like me. i'm surprised and was humiliated. beware of this company. I had to call corporate headquarters in Florida # 239-277-6200 and # 888-855-4986. They apologized and have attempted to remedy my situation. The store manager Lisa Craig and the clerk Ruth need to be terminated.

The women in my family love this store. The clothes don't wrinkle so they are great for traveling. They have so many choices for jewelry, scarves, jackets and even shoes. The women who work here are very helpful too. #LOCALGUIDES
