“This branch re-opened almost a year ago and is rarely busy whenever I've gone. When I have gone, I get friendly and efficient service. Hope they stay open, as it is in a very convenient location off Hollywood Blvd.”

“This is not just ATM's. The Bank of America branch that was here closed for a complete remodel over a year ago but it has now reopened. The remodel makes some sense since before remodeling they had a huge cavernous space. They have taken all of that space and utilized a lot of it for individual office space for their financial services. The teller windows have been moved up front near the entrance so you do not have to venture in real far if you are just in need of banking services that a teller can provide. If you require financial assistance through their financial services such as Merrill Lynch, they now have individual space for that which also provides some amount of privacy. They still have 3 ATM's on the outside of the building that can be accessed 24\\\\7 for your convenience.”

“If going to a bank in Hollywood to get bus fare is a weird thing to do in 2022, then this Chase branch - housed in the Norma Desmond of bank buildings - is the bank for the occasion. Due to poor space usage and tourists (?) camping out for the air conditioning and free wifi, the location is surprisingly cramped and feels much smaller than would appear from the still-splendid exterior.The actual Chase employees I interacted with were perfectly professional. The security guard ensconced in her cubicle at reception was surprisingly cheerful and helpful, while the teller acted as if my $1.75 withdrawal were not a weird request at all when you don't carry cash, left your debit cards at home on the other side of the country, and no other bank where you have an account has a branch in LA. Service was efficient and completely unentertaining - so much so that I spent the rest of my time here photographing the building and the crumbling ruins of the Whispering Angel Fountain in what I guess used to be a courtyard. The lady at the fountain scolding her broken umbrella? I didn't photograph her.Finally, a shout out to Chase (not this branch in particular), whose excellent credit products can fly you round trip across the country and put you up in centrally located hotels in for free.”

“I came in 8/3/23 at 4:15pm. There was a line but went through easily with only 2 available tellers. I WISH I had gotten the name of my lady. She helped me with information on ordering new checks which, I personally like asking questions to a direct representative of any company instead of people's answers online. She even helped me make a critical decision when she found out that I was about to order new checks but needed to cancel the old set that is lost somewhere in the streets of LA. Had she not told me to wait to order before calling 24/7 customer service, I would have paid for the new checks only for the bank to potentially change my account numbers (for the safety & security of my account), which would have made my new checks useless. & I would have had to order AGAIN. Also, I did not know "temporary checks (???) were available in the branches for a smaller fee than cashier's check. She was insanely helpful with a GREAT attitude. Patient & kind. I rarely write reviews. Thank you so much for helping me, kind lady. You made my ROUGH day greatly better & this will be my new branch that I will be loyal to. I didn't have one after moving to LA & I found out my hometown one was closed. Thank you, AGAIN”

“I was in one of the ones in this town and a Latin guy helped me. In customer service, I think his name is Gustavo. I had already gone to the bank that is in the branch in MacArthur Park and the girls who serve the customer there only told him They make appointments all their lives, they are busy. There is one that only happens in the parking lot and the other says that she has a lot of appointments. A call is made to the majority manager of all the Banco América stores to please check that place. Their employees do not want to attend to the customer. Customer, I await my response, please, the only person who could assist me here at the Hollywood bank was a gentleman named Gustavo and he assisted me very well and it only took 5 minutes. People like that need us. Because we are the customer and we are right. It is fair that they give you appointments until the year 2024 when they are not doing anything. Please check that store that is located in Markartur Park. There is a girl who is fat and the other who has blonde hair and there is a gentleman too. People don't work well there, they're arrogant and we need them to solve our problems and they only pass by in their parking lots and it's nothing like that. The bank is supposedly open until 4 in the afternoon on Saturdays and now it's closed for them at 2, they say. They can't make appointments or serve anyone. If those women don't want to work, not even the gentleman, then fire him because it's not fair that you have your money invested there so that your employees don't work.
