Our diesel pusher MotorHome broke the serpentine belt and had to be towed. Bishop Diesel stayed open 4 hours late to wait for us. They diagnosed what caused the issue which was a frozen AC compressor. They told me what it would cost including labor. It took several hours more labor to get us up and running, but they charged us the original amount. I couldn’t be happier with our experience. They were friendly, efficient and treated me more than fairly. Highly recommend Bishop Diesel.

Scam this guy is the worst. They say they put the parts in your truck and they charge you for it but nothing gets done. Went there to get my injectors changed. They didn't change any of them tookMy truck to a reliable mechanic iv known for years. He said looks like they parked your truck called you back in 2 weeks and said it was done. Go any where else but this guy. I hope his business gets shut down.

Beware this place is as shady as they come starting with the owner jared lies thru his teeth says hes already worked on the truck and hasnt even seen it over tried charging for something he hadnt even seen pr touched. This guy will not learn his lesson until someone knocks that smirk off his face and a couple teeth out.

Bishop Diesel is the place to go!! I had a problem getting a service light to reset after a parts change. After talking to Jared he knew exactly what needed to be done. I was going to leave my Truck with him for some testing to be done (most reasonable price in Hollister) within minutes of driving away I got a call it was Jared Bishop telling me to come pick up my Truck. What I thought was going to be a big issue turned out to be a quick reset. 10/10 I highly recomend!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

DO NOT BRING YOUR TRUCK HERE.I like Jared but his business is run shady as can be. They had my truck for 11 months and it was one thing after another. A bad part sent, out of stock parts, covid, employees changed out, finally after 11 months when my truck was “fixed” I got it back…. Only for it to immediately break down. Well turns out they not only overcharged me for no reason but charged me for work and parts that were not changed. It took 3 weeks of persistent calls to finally get my refund. Save your time and money…. Go elsewhere.

Here is my review! I live in the Santa Cruz mountains to support my son I am a tow truck driver for the last 7 years! With that being said I'd like to know how many loyal employees have lasted that long for them! They have had my truck almost 6 months! And I'm driving the truck they said they fixed and it's a ticking time bomb. Changing the oil every other week because it's still producing diesel in the oil! Trying to support my son in a truck is not feasible. But they got the engine

My first experience is with Bishop Diesel is asking them to do a "look-over" on my 2009 Ram 2500 when I was evaluating it to purchase it used. They did a full evaluation and notified me of all the issues with the truck. I was then prepared better for deciding to buy the truck and knowing how much I would have to do after purchasing the truck. I was able to use the information to help negotiate a lower price given I had a list of major repairs that needed to be performed after purchase. Jared and the team try very hard to make things right. I take the Ram in for pretty much everything. It's close and convenient to my home and they are very accommodating on schedule and options for repairs and when I really need to perform a repair and when I don't. The owner has put parts into my truck that I have replaced since. Charges for OEM parts and puts cheap Napa parts in it. Have replaced everything that he has touched. Just wanted to support a small hometown type of shop and now I will never do it again. He's got a lot to learn with treating his customers like that. Do not take your stuff here. I don't recommend it. I wouldn't even give him one star. If you've got work done on your vehicles make sure to check out the parts he put in the vehicle.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

They do not have a working dyno and lie about it. Only reason I brought my truck here. The owner Jared is a a compulsive liar scrambling to make up excuses for over charges and bad diagnostics.

Ended up paying more than was quoted for suspension work, and only received some basic NAPA shocks in the front when I was originally quoted for FOX shocks. I was also told that after what was replaced in the front end, everything was in great working condition but was forced to go back and pay even more money for new bushings to be replaced because the ride was worse than before I had spent thousands of dollars.
