I'm not in that habit of leaving negative reviews, unfortunately I feel something needs to be said. I recently purchased from this company a Whirlpool refrigerator freezer to be placed in my garage. I spent $250, which is not much, but meanwhile on Facebook marketplace there were lots of units available. I felt though I'd rather give somebody who has a business the business so he can keep his operation going and there would be some type of quality control on the item that I purchased. They have a 30 day guarantee and in 25 days it stopped working and I quickly had to transfer some expensive food items into other places so they would not go bad. I called two different times to both numbers on the receipt no one picked up no one called me back. I then made the decision at this stage of my life, that i would just buy a new one which i did from home depot. I got charged $50.00 to haul away the piece of junk that I purchased from Jerrys. I guess what aggravates me the most is I tried to do the right thing and ended up being the totally wrong thing.

When our beloved Kenmore washing machine quit working, we started looking for new appliances and were dismayed at the options. We turned to looking for used appliances and went in-person to Jerry's store to see what they had. A great selection and Jerry was there to speak with us. We mentioned our broken Kenmore and asked if he could come to our home to fix it -- in Richmond! Jerry said yes and we could not have been more appreciative. Jerry came by today (two days after we stopped by) in the window he said he would and very quickly diagnosed the problem as something much more affordable than a different company's repair tech had proposed. We are so grateful to Jerry for coming out here and fixing our washer quickly and professionally! 60 day warranty on the work as well

The washer I got was over filling and not agitating.I Stopped by and the guy said someone will come over and take a look at it. He came exactly when he said he would & he Fixed it within two minutes . No more overfilling and it agitated now.I asked why all the bad reviews. He explained that he has a second job and he’s not always at the store. So call his cell number that he gives you after he installs/ delivers the appliance. Not the store!He’s actually a cool guy. I’m happy .

We worked with Jerry about 3 or 4 years ago and he was GREAT! We traded in our new but absolutely useless GE "high efficiency" (ha! what a joke!) washing machine for an older Kenmore (YAAAY KENMORE! SO sad that Sears went out of business as their appliances were the best!) and Jerry was really helpful. Really, really helpful and patient. On time, very professional, very reasonably priced, did a couple of extra things and didn't charge us for the little extras. We were truly delighted to have met him and worked with him. Had we ever needed more work on any other appliance we would have chosen him again without hesitation.Well, the Kenmore has sprung a leak someplace so we started calling 10 days ago and I texted as well. Thus far, 10 days later, we've had no response either to the calls or the text. We have no idea why. Jerry was EXCEPTIONAL when we worked with him. This is stunningly unprofessional and we're absolutely shocked at his lack of response. At first we were actually worried that perhaps something had happened to him but my husband drove by the shop and it's still in business so it seems that his professionalism has gone south.Evidently, this is now how he operates. It makes us both sad and so disappointed. When I say he was great I mean fabulously great. We would never have gone to anyone else. I still really hope nothing bad has happened to him but this lack of responsiveness is absolutely unacceptable.

No one calls back when I leave cell phone messages. Voicemail always full on the business number. I was supposed to get a washer from them a few weeks back, was told to call the next morning when a shipment was coming in. They have some good stuff but the unresponsiveness is a deal breaker.

So I call around for a dryer switch ...everyone kept telling me to go to 162nd... they didn't have the part in stocks either...so I called jerrys..the man on the phone asked me if I had a gas or electric dryer I said electric and he says yeah we have them...when I get to the spot Jerry isn't there a man tells me they don't sell parts just washers and dryers...well cool the owner just said u did! He calls Jerry....long story short Jerry wasted my time. Maybe ready to retire? Sounded real old on the phone and the man I was talking to I could barely tell if he understood what I was saying ..lord knows I could barely understand him..

We bought an electric stove from Jerry's. Very good service, warranty and price. I deffinately recommend them and if I ever need another appliance I would go there.

Jerry is amazing! He gave me a great price on a used washer and not only delivered and installed it, but also took away my old washer. I was in a real bind with a six month pregnant wife and a broken washing machine and Jerry saved the day. This was about the most painless possible dealing I could have hoped for and will be recommending Jerry to anyone looking for appliances or appliance repair.

I want to give PRAISE to Jerry and his father at Jerry's appliance. I recently purchased a used washing machine with the extra large capacity. It was installed in under two hours. I wanted an older style washer that did not come with all the electrical components and one that could use bulk powdered detergent. Jerry spoke honestly with me and directed me to the perfect washer for my needs. They had newer and fancier ones to chose from as well. Don't let the dents fool you. The washer I purchased works GREAT and has a 60 day warranty. This is my third appliance purchase from them. I will continue to be their customer. I paid $240 for a GREAT washing machine!
