Gets the dirt off, however, I’ve been going to this wash for about two years and their “spotless rinse” is anything but. It shares the same lines as the “high pressure soap” and they don’t car to fix the fact that soap will leave spots on your “clean car”. I’ll be going to the self service wash on Anacapa down town.

Cost was 10 dollars, required multiple card swipes to add time but only total price showed on card charge. Did the job.

Nice but misleading pricing. Vacuum said 0.75 (dollars?) but was charged $10 for 5 minutes of vacuuming. The vacuum didn’t even have that great of a suction…
Edit: Dropped the review to 2 star. You can see that there was a response from 'Jordan,' who is at an unreachable email address (the emails sent there bounce), and they seem to have an unusual policy where they automatically overcharge you. So, if you go, bring cash.

My, my, my. Isn't Yelp the place for unhappy people to complain about ... everything! I've bee coming to this car wash for years. I'm not a regular car washer, but when my car is REALLY dirty I come to this car wash. It was time for a car wash and I thought I'd check in with Yelp to see how my favorite car wash was rated. 2 Stars! What happened to it?Nothing! It's still a great hand car wash. With many people coming in and out to wash their cars, and with other choices in town. Here's how you can go there and have a positive experience with a 7 minute $6 car wash: #1Remember, it's a car wash, not life changing surgery. This is not serious or important.#2Use the change machine or come with change. It's cheaper that way.#3Put in $3.00 for 3.5 minutes. Use the soap rinse first and blast your car, don't waste time with blasting your car just with water first, use the one with soap. Then use the soap brush and scrub your car all over quickly, and then go back and scrub it with more oomph! The time will run out but just keep on scrubbing till you think you got all the dirt off. Don't worry about the time running out, it's not worth running back and forth.#4Put in another $3.00 and start with the high power rinse. Once you got all the soap off. Do the wax rinse and finish with the spotless.#5Bring a big towel and some smaller ones from home and stay in the shaded washing dock. Now if there are other people waiting to get into the washing dock, get out of there promptly. But it not, take advantage of the shade for you and the car drying before you can hand towel it. Usually I find I can dry my whole car off in the dock and no one will be behind me. Other docks open up for those that arrive. But always, jump into your car and get out of there if someone else is waiting.There, wasn't that simple :-)I do use Yelp, quite frequently, especially for restaurants. Usually the high rated places meet my expectations, but sadly there are good places with poor ratings. I guess the first thought on all those people getting their car washed here isn't, "I'm going to run home and let everyone know what a great car wash this is." It's probably more like, "I'm going to have a beer and chill." Since this is an absurdly long review, I will just continue. I went to a pub for dinner in Mendocino, I had a great time. On their billboard outside it read "Come and try our clam chowder that someone on Yelp said is the worst clam chowder he's ever had!" That's funny!

For a fast and quick rinse this place is great. However so.etimes it won't take your debit card. Have cash on hand just in case.
