Jeremy, Assistant Manager at the Goleta (CA) store took time to assist with finding items. He was very knowledgeable about the products that I was looking for and walked me to locations where the products were shelved.
One of the products was out of stock, and Jeremy politely assisted with ordering the item. I appreciate that this was shipped to me without charge, and arrived next day.
He also provided excellent customer service when I was discussing the Ink Recycling Rewards Program with him.
While he was assisting me he also took a brief moment to welcome a customer entering the store.
I wish that more persons in the retail industry would be as knowledgeable and professional as Jeremy was.

Good shopping experience in the print section but the store is very dirty, would suggest a deep clean.

Terrible customer service in the printing area. The employee actually walked away from another customer as a question was being asked and talked down to the customer after that. When I asked about printing a project, the employee again talked down to me, and only after I started using the self print computer did she say that it was the more expensive way to do it. I'll try not to come back to this location.

Omaari, in the print shop, offered top notch service! I was stunned that he consistently went out of his way to help me when I was really struggling to get some invitations printed. The print machine quality needs to be improved at Staples (or they should NOT offer it as a service) but at least the customer service is good. The images were too grainy and dark to use, so we did not complete the purchase, but Omaari did everything he could to fix our issue. Get better machines and promote Omaari so you can stay in business!

I came to the store at 10:45 to get one poster laminated. The man that helped me said that it would take one hour. When I came back in a hour there was someone else there, and I could see my poster in the back, so I said that I was picking it up. The poster was not laminated. The second worker told me that the co-worker was on break, and that he would probably get back to it when he comes back from his 15 minute break. The second worker said he wasn't trained in using the machine so he couldn't help. I came back at 1:10, and the original worker was back and when my husband mentioned he was here for the poster the worker whispered "oh sh*t" and said that the laminator machine was broken and that we could come back at 2:30 for it because the manager would supposedly come and fix it. Just through that response I could tell that worker forgot about the order, and also that there was no communication between the first worker and the second worker I interacted with letting one another know that I had returned and was asking about my order. I know the machine being broken was out of anyone one's control, but what wasn't out of their control was being able to notify me so that I didn't have to waste my time waiting for my item. The worker could have texted or called me that he wasn't going to get the item done within the hour like he had said he would. He could have also notified me once he realized the machine was broken. Took my item back as I was tired of service that disregarded their customers' time.

One of your employees made me very uncomfortable by following me around the store and persistently trying to “help me” even though I did not inquire. When he had to walk away to aid another customer he put his hand on my lower back and told me he’d “be right back” to continue helping me out—keep in mind that I didn’t ask for help (ever), I was simply looking at pens. This was not customer service, it was sexual harassment. I don’t want to go back here again because he even found me at the register line, cleared room to open another register up, and waved me over to get checked out. He purposely did this and I don’t feel comfortable coming back to shop. He was an older man and I’m a young woman—I should not have to feel unsafe shopping for notebooks and pens.

You get top-quality services and customer care at this Goleta Store. Ted and Bill exemplify the very best Customer Service. They are knowledgeable about products, helpful and patient. They are hands-on…as managers they will still be the first to haul stuff to your car..and then take it back if you change your mind! In addition, the store offers Passport ID photos and TSA applications. Ted told me they plan to expand such services. I am taking the time to write this Five-Star review because not only Ted and Bill, whose names I asked for so I could identify their outstanding service, but everyone working at the store whom I have encountered over the past month of furnishing a new home has been exceptional. They could and should teach classes on great teamwork. Hurray to this outstanding team!

TSA Pre-Check: I gotta tell ya! Goleta, CA Staples had no lines for TSA Pre-Check walk-ins, but I made an appointment anyway, and the process was completed in 5 mins. flat! Major kudos & thanks go out to both Bill & Ted (different Bill & Ted) for being so fast, courteous & efficient! Two people doing TSA checks right there on the store register Pad, no barrier booth, no fuss, no waiting! And the photo was super fast. Going to Goleta Staples is MUCH BETTER than going anywhere else for TSA Pre-Check! I even had time to shop a little.You ROCK Goleta, CA Staples!!!
