Eric was very helpful and thoroughly explained the problem I was having and the process on how it gets fixed. Upon noticing the severity of the condition of my car, he was able to squeeze me in the same day and I was able to pick up my fixed car the very next day! I've used these guys several times to repair problems that took true expertise to even diagnose! I believe they can handle pretty much anything.Eric (manager?) always took the time to educate me in a way that both respected my amateur knowledge and impressed the hell out of me!At multiple service appointments he walked me through options and recommendations that always put my interests above those of the shop.Also went beyond the call of duty to fix a few little extras without charging more.This is now definitely my auto repair go-to!Rob H.Goleta, CA

Best autoshop i’ve ever been to. Honest. Kind. Quick. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I recently got a vw on my move up for college to santa barbara. My battery recently died and needed replacing and i went to autozone, o’reilys, and four different autoshops with no luck. Many different businesses tried to scam me, had long wait times, or made the process very difficult. Whoever here they took me in and fit me into there schedule. I was in and out very quickly. The customer service was beyond wonderful. I will from now on only be coming here for my car troubles. On top of the impecable service, at the end of the service I asked if they accepted apple pay because in the craziness and hassle of the day i had lost my credit card. I offfered to walk and get cash back or come back and drop off cash but the owner refused and told me the service was on him and to have a nice day. I will be going back and leaving a tip. I have been taking my M3 here for my alignments for a few years now. They're one of the few shops in town able to align it because of the altered ride height, however, I would take my car here anyways because Eric and Daryl are experts at what they do. Highly recommended!

I cannot begin to tell you how great these guys are! It is so hard to find honest, good mechanics. I came back to town a few years ago and my Suzuki Grand Vitara was having some issues. Some shops turned me away b/c it was difficult to find parts. Not Eric at Fairview Motors... He has taken such care of my car AND me in the process. He is thorough and tells you all before he does the work. He has been "spot on" every time (I have had major repairs and brake work done by him). These guys know what they are doing!! Honest, fair and a true value! I am grateful and will be back if I need ANYthing!!Erika Wszulkowski

Amazing service, honest investigative inspections, reasonable prices and friendly smiles. Eric is to owner, (I believe) and has suggested upon bringing my Ford F-150 in for the 100K service that we change belts and spark plugs. He said he would be doing a differential oil change too. Upon inspection he said that they took out a spark plug and it looked fairly new, then took out another one to make sure it wasn't just one plug changed. He said it appears all the plugs were changed recently and we didn't need to spend money redoing that. The differential oil was changed recently too. He could easily have changed both of these, and charged me to increase his revenue, but chose honesty. It's a rare find to know that a mechanic company stands behind their reputation of honesty. I highly recommend Fairview Motors if you are wanting peace of mind knowing you are dealing with an honest company.

I recently had an alignment here. I was pleased with the ease of scheduling, the service, description of the problems my car had, and the price as well. I'd definitely recommend Fairview Motors for your automotive needs!
