It was a good place to repair tools, but it is no longer, the tools fail immediately after being repaired, I brought to this place for the last time two rotary hammers (Dewalt and Maquita) were there for a long time they never called me and when I called them they said that they were waiting for the parts to fix them after a while ( 3 months) I had no more news so I went to the store to talk to these two old men, they seem that they had no idea where the tools were, they told me that they were still being repaired, some time later they told me that the tools did not have I fixed it, then I told them that I wanted them back because they still worked only that sometimes I needed to hit them to make them work, then they told me that they threw them in the trash,
As it is possible that a place that we have entrusted for years will give me such an answer, this seemed to me more than a robbery. So I didn’t have any solution to this I lost my tools valued more or less at $900 dollars for the state in which they were calculating that value.

This place is a fucking joke. Called before I came and was told I could bring in a effective DeWalt tool under warranty and it would be sent in for repairs. Drive 30 minutes just to be told that they don't do that and don't have any information on how to do so. They're listed in the DeWalt site as an authorized service center. Save your time and go somewhere where they actually know that the hell they're talking about.

I dropped off a tool with this business nearly a year ago, and called multiple times only to be told he was "waiting for parts." I don't live nearby so when I called to say I'd given up and just wanted my tool back while in town, he informed me he'd thrown it away. He claimed he tried to contact me, but the only contacts between us are from me to him requesting updates, and now my tool back. This was quite an expensive nail gun, and I am very upset and wonder what actually happened to it because throwing it away makes no sense.

If you're remodeling or need specific tools for any type of construction Tool Shack is the your one stop shop. Fred the front desk, also owner, had been in business here for the last 40 years. I walked in for a plumbing repair and solved all my issues with the right tools. I highly recommend visiting their shop for any construction supplies, new tool purchase, or tool repairs.

A couple of grumpy old men who have been selling tools for a very long time. My guess is that they're sick, sore and tired of hearing from some schmo that you could buy the same tools for less through the internet (Amazon) over and over again. So why are they still there, why the 5 star review? If you don't know you're probably that schmo. SERVICE... That means they know you're name, know what tools you need (and) provide the tools and services that pros need to do their jobs. Oh, let's not forget the master tool repair guy who probably lives in Middle Earth. Who usually can repair any tool you have for less than 100 bucks. I could go on but I have to go to work now.

I've been coming to the Tool Shack for years, and have never received anything but great service. In an age when it's tempting to just throw away your tools, these guys can generally fix it and for much less than the cost of a new one. Quick example: my Dewalt reciprocating saw was broken, and I was about to go buy a new Milwaukee - just because I wanted a new one - but instead, I brought it to the Tool Shack yesterday. $35 and one day later, the Dewalt is working good as new, and I can spend $150 on something else that I really need. Seriously, they fixed it in one day. This is the place to go if you're in the trades and you need your tools to work. Yesterday when I was waiting, I listened in to an entire tutorial about how to run a hammer drill.

They have way more than most places but its best if you know what your looking before you go in cause they can be a little inpatient.
