How can anyone trust the salvation army when there all lyes. The salvation army dose not help any country for fact.Any thing sent anywhere cost money the salvation dose not give anything for free.in fact there expensive for anything they sent.If they don't make money trust me there not doing it.If there anything they can't sell trust and believe it goes to the trash before they would give it away for free.who are they fooling. This company dose nothing unless it for money.I promise after they get sued and they Finley have to pay everyone that works there mi minimum wage and no more free labor.Where going to see the true blue company and way things are going to change.Finley there going to have to pay and it's about time they fined out you can't slave people to work and Christian people that they are .God is going to make them pay for there sins .They Finley are not going to get there way. After all they get every thing free plus they do nothing for anyone for free and now they have to pay for labor. The true blue is now going to show and everyone is going to see them go down hill .There already hating the fact They can't use poeple for free labor .we know what's going to happen now without saying.

I spoke to Captain Kelly this morning. Being a Christian in Hollywood has been one of the most loneliest experiences of my life however God is always with us. Everyday God sends me confirmation that God is with me and today Mr. Kelly was it. He asked where I was I said Hollywood. I said not by choice but God places you where he needs you most. He said that is a tough assignment. I love that he understood. I love speaking to other Believers that say have a Blessed day instead of a good day. He gave me a phone number for another Salvation Army and I thanked him saying I love speaking to a Believer he said you will probably get another one there. God BBLES You Sir! The world needs more Captain Kelly's. More Salvation Army's.

I brought in clean wrapped unused take out plastic cutlery for their lunch programs collected from local neighbors, a couple shopping bags full, and the officer was a gentleman and walked me to my car and took the bags out to bring in the office. Very kind and professional.

Worst leadership ever. They tend to act like they are following the norms of Christ but hell no. I'm talking about Booth home. I resigned in October 2020. The captains ar cool. The program administrator i.e Justin Polanco is one hell of a snitch. Its like the shelter is supposed to be for only Latinos and hey guys be aware that promotions are only meant for Latinos. In a nutshell, try some other locations not Booth home in Glendale. The male clients have no boundaries. One of them tried to whisper in my ears which is some form of sexual harassment. Horrible place

We dropped off 5, 25 gallon bags of clothes and some foot wear today at the Glendale- Windsor street salvation army drop off center this afternoon. The salvation army person manning the booth was named victor v. He was not very helpful and did not help us with taking the heavy bags of clothes from our car trunk. This is after we verbally asked him. He didn't care much. Instead he told us we needed to not only pull the heavy bags from our trunk, but also lift the bags, one by one into the tall metal drop container by pulling down the large metal door to drop bags in, which we did. But isn't this his job? We are donating items to help. We don't work for the salvation army. Isn't the salvation army a Christian organization? If so, why do these salvation army representatives behave in such non- helpful- Christian manner? We have been to other salvation army drop of centers, the staff st other salvation army drop centers are much more helpful and appreciative.

Someone from the salvation army office was able to help me right away with my donation. She was kind and friendly. There attendant who assists with receipts for taxes was not there yet, but the attendant knew of a woman and baby that all my infant goods, bassinet, (new) postpartum relief goods, infant toys, bottle sterilizer, bouncers, etc was able to go to right away. She didn't give me details of course to protect the family's privacy but it made me so happy to know to was going to help someone right away and not sit in storage or the trash (as all these items were brand new or very gently/barely used). The location is also very convenient to get to and has a very large parking lot for unloading. I would absolutely recommend this location for donation!!
