Appreciation letter!The day I entered to the United States, everything seemed to me out of order, like a big monster! I was so worried those day’s that one day I received a phone call that who spoke in my local language, I was very happy! I said who are you? He said that my name is Amir Khan and I am an employee of IRC and I am obliged to cooperate with you. He explained everything to me very clearly and the cooperation with me started from the same day. He pursued and solved my problems very patiently during these 3 months and now the same monster that I found difficult has been defeated with the cooperation of Mr.Amir Khan and the IRC NGO,So right now I have led a normal life in this country,hence just I want to say thank you brother for all the cooperation you have done for me.

I am going to echo another reviewer's experience. I was attempting to volunteer with this organization within the previous year. I have relevant background (finance/business/experience working with ESLs) and volunteer experience and was surprised by the lack of professionalism and organization, given the size of the organization itself. I followed the online process and reached out to the coordinator via the website as directed. She responded by calling me the wrong name in her response email then inviting me to attend an "orientation" with two days' notice. When I could not attend and asked for the next date (they are supposed to occur monthly), the coordinator set up a time to call me and discuss volunteering. I took time off work and waited for her call...which never came. I tried calling the office and received only voicemail. I followed up via email. No response. Followed up again about weeks later, finally got an apology saying she was "busy around the holidays." (It was not "the holidays.") She offered to set up another call. I gave her times and dates I was available. Never received another response. At this point I opted not to pursue volunteer work further. Adding to the frustration, they were unbelievably slow at updating their volunteer website, so as I watched and tried to catch an orientation session, I would often find that the orientation date either would not be updated or it would be updated so late that it wasn't possible to attend. It is a shame that such a worthy organization is likely losing committed volunteer applicants due to poor organization.

As an expert and highly educated, I applied for a volunteer humanitarian work in this Org.I even went to their office twice and deliver the resume. A complete mess in their communication management. I talked to several people there on the phone of course, they are rarely at their office . every time they promised to call soon, they never did. Very low quality service and I can't imagine how they do their missions and how they spend the funds they get for the org. duties.
