The associate Mauricio gave wrong information and was not helpful. Told me I can return anything as long as it’s within 14 days and wouldn’t accept my phone case because it was “scratched up.” If a $45 phone case gets so scratched up within 14 days that the store won’t accept it as a return, it just means one thing: the item is extremely low-quality and not durable! Went to another AT&T store in the area that took it with no questions asked (as they should bc it was within the 14 day return window.)

Terrible experience at this store. First of all, Oliver, the manager at this store was rude and unprofessional. All I needed was to activate my new phone that I bought and he first expression was rolling his eyes and giving me attitude through the whole interaction. He would raise his voice and rush me to hurry up when I tried to pull up information for him. If you're not happy at your job, then quit.

I'm not much of a review type of human, unless the location inspired me with top of the line service or the service was extremely/terribly, bad. I also believe the consumer should be aware of this dilemma. I've been coming to this Mall for more than 35 years and it's not my first rodeo when it comes to purchasing a cell phone(s). I've worked in the commercial management sales industry for known corporations for approximately 11 years. Customer service is, and will always be my priority. In this industry i've learned the following: "we need the customer(s), the customer DO NOT need us." I've learned this job puts food on my table and my service will always be golden. Customers always return requesting my assistance. Why? It's the fact that they Love my service, it's not the business name or location, but my quality golden service. I'm sure most of you can agree we've all driven far just to obtain the best service at a certain business. With that being said: I walked in to this store (12/21/23) with the intentions of purchasing/upgrading (new) Cell phones just before Christmas. "Mr. CHRIS" helped me out (unknown last name or work title) no customers waiting. To start off Mr. Chris seemed to be mad at the world? Or probably wanted a higher pay because he's better than his co-workers. Keep in mind every one of us is fighting our own battles. That doesn't mean you should take it out on the rest of us, especially your customers. I tried to change his demeanor with a joke or smile but it didn't seem to really make him a happier homo-sapien. Same attitude of: " I hate this place/job." Mr. Chris would roll his eyes every time I asked him a question about a phone differences? He smirked & told my wife as he checked the time on his iWatch and said the following with an entitled attitude: "don't worry about the color, you're gonna put a cover on it anyway?" I thought to myself, what if she doesn't want to put a cover on? Or if so, maybe a clear cover to show off the color? Mr. Chris just wanted it his way no matter what. I asked if he had a certain phone in a particular color he said: "I don't know? I can check but, it's gonna take me about 10 minutes to check the system?" Sorry Chris, but the customer doesn't need to hear your mouth anymore, you force them to buy what they don't like. I'm sure this store gets a lot of problems with returns, all because the customer wasn't happy with your sale(s). If you don't have the phone the customer wants, just simply offer to order them the phone or do a stock check at another store. I sure hope Chris doesn't stay in the sales business. I'm not sure if a training class/course would even help him. I also pray to God and hope you don't become a law enforcement officer. Because you wouldn't have de-escalation skills, and you would probably hurt someone. You're a bad rotting apple and you're making the rest of your colleagues look bad. I sure hope you find your career elsewhere, because it isn't here. Here's some courtesy tips to tell your customers: - Sir/Ma'am, I don't have it in stock, let me order it for you. - It won't take long to arrive. - I think that's an excellent color, most people do love this particular model/color etc... - Let me show you this exact phone sample (get off stool/chair). - I think that's a great idea! (Smile) - Welcome guys! Give me a few and I'll be right with you. Meanwhile feel free to look around our products/accessories. I went to the AT&T store on Los Feliz, across/near Costco. Let me tell you, Great Customer Service as soon as I walked in! they definitely got my business (3 New Apple Phones special Order). I apologize for the inconvenience or if anyone's feelings got hurt during this review. I was raised old school, not soft. I also hope Mr.Chris gets the correct training, so he can hopefully just be a simple humble and

Not a pleasant one. The employee did not seem to want to help me because I was there to pay off a phone and not buying anything.

I was at the Glendale Galleria store on Saturday around 2pm.The service provided by a female associate was pretty terrible.I went in and told her I was there to pick up my new phone. She went in the back room and was in there for about 10 minutes. She came back out and started talking to the other associates. She didn't say anything else to me. Another associate came in with pastries and they went in the back room again. After another 10 minutes, I asked one of the other associates if I needed to come back because I assumed they were busy. No other customers were in there. Then one of them told me the safe had a timer for 15 minutes. He went in the back room and told them about me. She came out with the new phone in a sealed cardboard box and hands it to me. I asked if she could open it because I didn't have a knife or anything. She opened it and handed me another box also sealed. Again, I asked her to open it. She seem more interested getting back to her pastry. One of the other associates (I believe, because he had a Samsung shirt on) jumped in to help. He helped me for the rest of the visit. He told me that she would help with the trade in.After we left, the phone didn't work. I took it to another AT&T and they got it working. They told me the Sim card was not registered.I believe this associate needs more training and coaching on customer service.I went to this store because I had a very pleasant visit last year when i was upgrading one of my other phones. But I don't think I'll come back.
