I bought 5 of their poinsettias for $10 each to support a local charity. They were packaged in brown paper so I could only see the top leaves. When I took the plants home, three were so diseased with brown, green molded, foul smelling, wilting, shedding petals and leaves -- I was afraid their sicknesses wouild transfer to pets and humans. I had to throw them away. The remaining two lasted 5 days, even though I put them through an intestive care regime to nurse them to health. N I looked up this business to see if it was a front for importing inferior plants from overseas. Really really bad quality guys. I'll never shop here again.

I love getting beautiful poinsettias for Christmas every year! I like to order a box of 6 in October. Any later and they will be sold out. The plants are very vigorous and beautiful.

I have had the misfortune of dealing with Headstart sporadically for a decade. At every opportunity they have provided a poor product, GROSSLY overcharged me, and then, send me invoices long after they have cashed our payments. I cannot say anything positive about my experiences... Their local guy in the desert is nice enough and I decided to try them again.... huge mistake... they provided pepper plants at about 4 x the normal cost, plants that had been sent back by another grower and ranged from 2.5 inches tall to 4 inches, and were not uniform at all in color or vigor. We do field research and we had to measure and color index every tray and plant accordingly... for this premium price they did not provide the variety we asked for, and indeed provided a variety which is, by all accounts, poorly adapted to the desert... the end result? We have had to cancel and will now need to redo about $50,000 worth of work. And you can be sure I will NEVER use or recommend this group of incompetent nurserymen ever again.

What a way to end the day! Redemption at the last stop... Great selections of new perennials here that will be coming out over the next few years! The salvias are truly WOW the amount of bloom are amazing. The red coreopsis is shockingly bright and blooms early. Great stop! Great facility! Great presentation... impressive. (Plus they have my favorite petunia out there... the queen of hearts) look at the picture... you can buy this today!
