Went to this branch not expecting much because it's inside of Ralph's but I was super wrong! My boyfriend had been telling me to open up with Schools First so we went ahead and tried. The girl at the counter signed us in quickly and sent us over to Amado. He was super friendly and extremely helpful. He explained the process from start to finish and was super quick. I typically hate dealing with any kind of financial institutions but he really made this experience quick and was super nice!

I wrote a scathing editorial yesterday revolvingbaround a fraudulent charge. I failed to see that Schools First actually handled it appropriately. It was my fault for not seeing this reflected in my bank statement and for that I apologize and disavow my earlier statements. Schools First FCU has been stellar for more than ten years of my membership.Today I am the fool.

I went in to open a new account, while waiting in line to talk to a teller, Carlos came out asked how he could help me & immediately took me over to his desk to start my new account process. Not only did he open me a new account with ease he also presented me with some real unbelievable new member offers. Yes, go to Students First Credit Union & get the Carlos experience...

I couldn’t believe I received horrible customer service from SchoolsFirst bank.. I mean it was really upsetting and I’ve been with SchoolsFirst credit union for a long time and the service I received today was so horrible…

Let me tell you about our latest experience with Schools First, so we were in need of a personal loan and headed to their Gardena location and the young man by the name Carlos helped us out. We explained to him we were in need of a loan, he asked what kind of loan we said personal loan, asked for what, we answered home improvements, he asked my husband for his email address, if he still worked at the employment on file and asked we send him to his email a recent pay stub and we did, and said Ok, you should get an answer within a couple of hours to tomorrow. We were like that's it!?!? You're good to go. We were pretty skeptical and bummed that we were going to be approved, but within 10 minutes we had an answer, he was approved!!! All he had to do was sign on the Schools First app and money was direct deposited. I'm telling you Schools First Federal. Credit Union Rocks!! ???????Haven't joined yet?!?! What you waiting for?!?

Yes they go by their name doing banking differently... I went in to open a checking account. there were two bankers talking in lobby and I politely asked if I could open a banking account and they asked if I had an appointment and I said no. One of the bankers said I need an appointment but said for me to wait and I sat in the lobby for over 20 minutes while they were talking about their brother's sisters wedding or something like that so I got irritated and I left. I don't know if I should of stayed or if I have done good by leaving. Can anyone tell me about their experience here's. But for now I highly advise anybody not to open accounts here as they say the first impression is the lasting impression.. and their first impression was lousy to me

Schools first needs to update this ASAP. And the atm only deposits $5 & $20, which if you’re going to withdrawal from the back you are usually trying to get larger bills. And yes there are other branches but that is not the point. Update please.

I been a member for 5 years.! And I just want to say. School first is the best bank I ever had. And I will have! I have my car loan, MasterCard, savings, etc, my vehicle finance was the lowest rate I ever imagine.! In my opinion and experience, no other bank is as good as school first, personal work in this bank,. Makes, SchoolFirst!
