Have been coming to Richard's for years. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. He just added a motor to my catrike 559 and sized the motor and battery perfect. He knows recumbents :).

I purchased a bike from this shop and later recently bought a basket for my cute bike. Was surprised with basket price...I did not know how they are pricey. So after that I compared with amazon...At first I made a mistake bcz compared with the wrong one..not the same basket from the shop and thought Richard charged a lot more than amazon...later found out he changed very reasonable and his shop has good quality products ...also appreciate that he put some air on my tires. Great service!

Richards cyclery is an excellent example of a local bike store done right. Repairs simple to complicated are well within this bike store's abilities. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, willing to offer their advice on any questions you might have. If you are looking for a new bike or simply need to repair a flat tire, this is the place to go.

I needed to get my bike tire fixed. Owner and employee were very personable and were able to get to it the same day He called me as promised when it was done which was very convenient. I was looking at another bike; and let me take it for a test ride. The repair was very reasonable. I'll be back with my wife's bike which could use a similar tune up mine received

This place is awesome! I brought my bike over with what I thought was a flat tire. The owner came out to my car with a bike pump and no charge got me all fixed up. Unfortunately, it ended up being a bit more than just a flat so I brought it over two days later. They fixed it and did a once over to ensure the bike was working properly. I've been to other shops in town and one charged me over $100 during the pandemic and did practically nothing. Richard's only charged me for the tire repair and 1/2 price for the maintenance check...$40 and I'm all set! I can't recommend them enough!!!

I have purchased 3 bikes from Richard. One was for my son and the other two bikes were ebikes. The customer service at Richard's shop is excellent. He has been in the bike business since the 1970s and he knows his stuff. On the last Ebike that I purchased on 3/1/22, he spent a lot of time telling my how to use the bike, get the best range when I am riding and how to handle the bike battery when not in use. I really appreciated the extra advice. He went over and above his call of duty with this transaction and I can't thank Richard enough for his advice. He has his entire staff trained well on bikes, equipment and answering questions. If there were a grade higher than an A on Richards Bike Shop, he would get it from me. If you want quality bikes and equipment and great service and knowledge, then visit Richard's Cyclery. They will give you their best.

Like the customer service, selection, and knowledgeable staff- Richard is very knowledgeable about cycling and has great insight as to what can and should be done in every case. This is very helpful to me as I don't know exactly what I want. His years of experience in maintaining and in being a cyclist help him achieve this knowledge. He also has high enthusiasm for cycling and has put his name on the business, which speaks volumes about his dedication to creating a great place to purach and maintain cycles.

I just completed my 5,000th mile on the bike I bought from Richard's a few years ago. The staff is kind and professional every time I take it in for service. My bike comes back as if it were brand new! They are a true treasure in the community.

Came to get an inner tube changed. They said it was gunna take a few days for some reason. I called another bike place to ask if they did it they said it would take 15 minutes but they didn't have the exact tube in stock so I figured I'd just buy the innertube here and take it to the other place . once they found out they got mad and decided not to sell the innertube to me at all even though he already agreed he'd sell it to me.
