I like going to vallarta's. It's a good supermarket with a good taqueria inside but when it comes to ordering or getting there abondigas soup you pay too much for it for abundigas some soup, three pieces of vegetables and a small piece of chayote The food is great. Just very little for the price they asked for it

The inflations hit this store hard, I shop here regularly, came in for a few items and it was over $100 for 7 small items.
I couldn’t believe it, typically purchase these products from winco but since we’re making tamales I wanted to go to a more authentic Hispanic store assuming we may get a better price or product.
Not the case,
The pork was very fatty, the dried chilies were out of line in price, 1 bag of dried California chilies was 13.99!!!! I normally pay 3-4 bucks at winco.
The hot food section has also gone up, $3.00 a pop for their own home made tamales.
Rice and beans are good. Salsa are good as well.
Cashiers not so friendly.

The store is well stock with a lot of hispanic products which I love but the hot food section workers have no manners at all. They act like they own the place and they are not polite or even greet customers. They need to be train again in customer service. They need to be reminded customers paid for groceries therefore pay for their salaries.

I love this store a lot for groceries because of their fresh produce, fresh cut meats, friendly workers, and their deli section. But today I’m here very disappointed after eating through nothing but masa. I grabbed a half dozen just for a quick meal cause we’re heading to the mountains for a weekend birthday camping trip. Though it would be a great idea to stop by for some fresh avocados, jalapeños, and salsa for the trip. Made some Mexican rice to eat with the tamales.. and I can say my Asian butts Mexican rice was more appetizing than our sad tamales. And I’m south East Asian.

Very neat and well-stocked supermarket. Good quality fruit and vegetables. I even happened to find a baguette and a ciabatta there, which for us as Europeans was a very welcome change from the soft American bread.
At the checkout I received a paper bag (!) for my purchase and not the usual plastic bags.
