Called a lot of places in town and this was the happiest sounding place that seemed to genuinely want to help me. Called me back quickly with a quote. Fixed my AC fan before the hot weekend from hell is bestowed upon us. Would go back. I'm a business owner and I'm huge on customer service. There are not that many mechanics that let you bring your own parts, but Doc's Auto Repair is one. Of course, you will have to agree to that there's no shop warranty (because you didn't buy it from the shop) and the shop is not liable for your defective parts (that you bought elsewhere).
If you like to use a specific engine oil and filter, or other parts such as shocks/struts or brake parts, etc., instead of either the shop choosing it for you or you having to choose from a limited selection in stock, Doc's auto repair is for you.
I used to come here when the previous owner (Rudy who operated "Danian's auto" which Rudy bought from the previous previous owner) was running it. Rudy offered the best prices in town but Doc's Auto Repair's prices are still very good.
They are also very professional and courteous, and make things right if something goes wrong.

Our shop is located in the East Bay & we have a tech who lives in Fresno. When his service van died, I had a terrible time finding a mechanic willing to work on it. After numerous calls, I reached the folks at Doc's Auto Repair (formerly Danian). They were friendly, helpful, courteous and, best of all, willing to work with me. They got the van started and their shop prices were reasonable. They even offered to drive the van over to another shop because they don't work on diesel engines. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I ALWAYS come here for car problems, but I'm finally writing a review for them! My car was made in 1998, so I do come in about once a year if not more. Danian himself and his staff are very kind, they explain everything well, and they keep prices as low as possible. When I came in today, I had a problem with my car not starting. It was about $250 to completely replace the part. Danian & his team first tried to clean it out so I wouldn't have to buy a whole new part. Although it was too difficult and I ended up buying the new part anyway, I really really appreciate their efforts in trying to keep costs low. For auto repairs, I strongly suggest this place; they do good and honest work!

Most important honest, he's done work on my vehicles several times he's dropped me off at work when they've had my car he goes above and beyond what any repair shop ordinarily would do.
