“Great communication & thorough! After a recent purchase of an E46 M3, I was reminded the hard way the importance of a PPI. The folks at Edge MW made a bitter pill go down easy-ish.My initial request was to change all fluids and plug a small oil leak. The shop came back with several pages of observations to make the car reliable. The big things included a new oil pan, suspension, subframe reinforcement, differential seals, brake pads and a few “while we’re in there” items.Derek and Anthony helped prioritize the work needed, and laid out options for the parts. Zero pressure. It helped to know that they race these machines and have a fluency with making a BMW last under stress.I picked up the M3 a few days ago and couldn’t be happier. Instead of making mistakes, he and his team finds mistakes that previous mechanics did with my car. My shocks blew and my boots tore. I needed it done ASAP. “Recently I had an accident on my newly purchased vehicle, and luckily it was covered by the other party (an inexperienced driver); although it was heart-wrenching, the entire experience turned out to be very pleasant. I would like to praise the insurance companies first, both my and the other party's, Farmers and State Farm, the claim process was as easy as going on the websites and submitting all the required information, done in 5 minutes; and within 24 hours, both companies figured out the liability and got me approved for repair work order and rental. I found Fix Auto Fremont on Farmer's website with good reviews, and I made an appointment within 2 days. After the final approval, I arranged for the drop-off and hoped they would do a good job; exceeded my expectations, Fix Auto did an excellent job within 3 weeks and even detailed my vehicle, so it is brand new again. “I spent weeks trying to figure out why my engine wasn't getting sufficient gas. Ken is very knowledgeable and diagnosed my 280zx. Turns out my fuel injectors were clogged due to my fuel filter deteriorating along with some other things. I would trust this man to restore my car to 100 percent, but unfortunately I don't have the money for that so Ken replaced my distributor, fuel filter, fuel injector, fuel pump, and ignition coil instead haha.On the day I came to pick up the car he drove it up front and noticed some last minute behaviors and said "I'm sorry I can't give you something that isn't perfect". That moment right there was when I knew Ken truly CARES (obviously I knew before that moment). I'll continue working on my Datsun and replace/fix things I can within my own ability, but I know where I'm taking it the next time I need something major figured out.Thank you Ken for your patience and automotive service. I brought my BMW 335i that was having multiple issues, they were able to diagnose, get the parts and finish the repair in the same day. “I had a very slow leak on my model Y foam tire. First went to pepboys they took my money $22 and told me they don't know how to fix foam tire told me I have to buy a new tire.I went to WD and they looked at it straight away and fixed the puncture at no cost.Also their tires were the cheapest out of all the places I checked.Highly recommend, will be my go to place for all tire related stuff”

“Trackspec came highly recommended to me by a friend who really knows cars. I have a 2013 Tesla Model S 85 with 93k miles. In the last few years, I noticed a mild clunking noise in the rear drive train when I accelerated or slowed with regen. I took it to Tesla Fremont service and their diagnosis was that a torn motor mount bushing was the likely cause. Their recommended cure was to replace the complete drive unit with gearbox at $7,000! The rebuild drive unit has new bushings and I asked if the bushings could be replaced but they told me that they don’t do such work in service, only complete replacements. Not being happy with this answer I went looking for alternatives.After talking with Jon at Trackspec I decided to have them do the work of inspecting the rear drive assembly and replacing the front and rear bushings. I got the mounts from Tesla and the specified fluids for the job. Mike is the mechanic that worked on my car. Mike first decided to do some basic inspection before any heavy work and pointed out to me with a pry bar that my motor mounts were still very firm and solid and not a likely cause of the play and clunk noises. He removed the half shafts and found issues on both ends with some corrosion and a loose half shaft nut and evidence of wear from slippage. After proper reassembly and torque the rear drive train is completely silent and with no play. I’m really happy that this issue has been properly diagnosed and resolved after many years. The guys at Trackspec do great work and are very practical and easy to communicate with. Their shop is clean and well organized. I highly recommend them.”
