Update 7/14/24: They offered me to take the photo again/print it... turned out to be far better.
Used their service for passport photo… lighting was bad, turned put to be a much darker photo:-( Not worth for $18

I was able to get in, find what I needed, and get out in a timely manner. Very quiet store. Nobody offered to help me or greeted me. Even the cashier didn't talk. The store was clean and it was easy to find what I needed. I wasn't wowed by the store but I will go back

Jonathan was friendly and informative helping us create our order. He was assisting a cashier with a service matter and greeting someone with a Amazon return letting them know help was on its way while not skipping a beat with us. When I came to pick up the order he remembered me. First time I shopped there. I know labor and coverage is very difficult for retailers. more multi taskers like Jonathan can go along way! Please recognize Jonathan.

The only office supply store in the area that has any necessities... and thus the only one that is still open in 2024. That being said, the front end associate with long hair likes to argue with customer, instead of just getting a manager. Clearly power-tripping on making customers do what they want, instead of allowing customers to engage with the competent people working in the store.

Absolute worst experience with the TSA check woman at this location. If you need TSA, go elsewhere. She yelled and scolded the poor girl before us. Then when it was my parent’s turn she was extremely rude. Her behavior was called to her attention in hopes that she would tone it down a little and she said “everyone is entitled to their opinion” and that “she could put notes about people in the TSA application”. She also snatched the stylus out of my mom’s hand amongst other snide commentary. Do not go here.

Wow, worst staples experience ever. Went to the TSA precheck desk and dealt with the rudest, snobbish female team member. I'm not sure if she is actually employed by staples or not, but either way she is really giving them a bad name.

I ordered a few boxes of envelopes for $3 a pop online for pick-up this morning. 8 hours later and it still was not ready for pick up. I had already been charged. I was told I couldn't have my envelopes and had to call the support line. I reached a line that said they were closed and to call back later. I have a confirmation number and a debit on my card and a printed confirmation sheet and there's still "nothing" they can do. Now I find I can't even cancel the order online. The boxes were $5 each in-store so I guess I know WHY they do this. Don't give your money to these scam artists.

Copy center employees should monitor the self service printing area if they notice patrons just sitting at the printers. I only needed to print one document that would be done in less than a minute. Both of the printers were taken up by one older man who refused to leave for some reason and another woman who was taking her time gluing together some type of project and slowly copying papers. I asked if either of them were done and politely waited when they said no, I don't mind waiting my turn. However I was waiting for nearly 20 minutes with no sign of either of them leaving soon. I explained that I only had to print one item and would be done quickly and both still refused. Copy center employees were not even busy and did not acknowledge any of this happening. The last thing I want to come off is entitled but it's ridiculous that I had to stand around waiting while orher patrons were not even using the printers the entire duration. (Cannot use the printers until they checkout and pay.)

Staples in Folsom is the same as all the remaining Staples stores in the Sacramento area. You can tell they're the things of the past as soon as you walk into the store! They still have lots of office supplies and some office furniture. The price seems a little higher than what I can find online. But they're a local store. I can get it right away. The high-tech section has way fewer items compared to many years ago when their customers bought computers, printers, and other accessories from the office supply stores. They still have a few items in the store. But way less and no salesperson at the section anymore!

Fax service machine quality is good. Fax service value is egregious: $8.40 to send 4 pages.
