These guys are shady. When I got my car, it wasn't at full fuel - instead it was at like 7/8.So, now I have to return it back at exactly 7/8 fuel? Who does that?I asked the person at the counter to give me some leeway and return it back at 75%.Return it a week later, they refuse to accept it and tell me I have to pay the difference.These guys won't fill up the car to full because they want you to either come under when you return it or make you fill it up completely - who the hell is able to fill up a car back at 7/8 fuel exactly? Just give me a full fuel car.

Loved it!!!Best car rental place I have rented from. The people there are friendly, helpful, and understanding.I am so very satisfied every time I rent from Hertz on Riley Street in Folsom.This car rental place allows you different prices with different options so that you can rent based on your budget. I was able to choose from Supplier Choice for a cheaper rate or my choice for a bit more. I liked all the rates offered. Very reasonable.Anna was able to get me in and out very quickly, so I was l in my rental and on my way. Thank you, Anna, for being so professional and friendly. I will be back soon.

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE CROOKS. The absolute worst place I have ever rented a vehicle. Reserved a car online for a week and prepaid $207 with $49 due when I picked up the car. Had the misfortune to have to deal with Ana who is an outright liar. She asked me if I wanted damage insurance and I specifically told her I didn’t need it because I had my own insurance. Upgraded the vehicle to an SUV for another $133 and also prepaid for gas for $89. Get the car and after I got home that evening I noticed that she had added $300 in insurance on to the total. Went back to the dealership the next morning to get them to take off the insurance. She blatantly lied and said that I had requested it. Told her I didn’t and could she take it off. She refused and said it was too late, it had to be cancelled within 15 minutes of getting the car. I told them that I was returning the car now, They refused to refund my prepaid $207 and told me I had still owed $95 for the car. So after having the car for less than a day and driving about 10 miles I am out $300. No wonder these shysters get so many one star reviews, they are a dishonest bunch of outright thieves and liars.

so far my experience is good, I returned car just 20mints late, so initially they charged me for an additional hour for being late but after requesting they remove the charge. Thanks for their help.

Idk where most of the negative reviews have been coming from but my experience was quick, smooth and didn't have any issues with my rental. Was in and out so quick.

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. Not only did HERTZ not have our rental available when we arrived, they had the audacity to try and charge us an additional $400 to give us a car we didn’t rsvp. The customer service was awful (besides the guy with the ponytail - he was cool) and we will never use HERTZ again. Thank you to Enterprise for resolving this issue.

I have been renting different cars at Folsom Hertz since moving to Folsom (from mid June for 3 months ) until I purchased a car. I have only had professional and pleasant experience. Not sure why so many bad reviews. The people at the counter are very nice, sometimes there is a slight wait due to other customers in line. But other than that, had no issues. I had no surprise/hidden charges which is the important thing. I once found some dents in a car I rented a day after I rented. I reported that, they made a note, had no issues and they even offered to give a different car. The staff were professional and helpful.

I arrived to pick up the car. They had no car for me. They were informed of a condition and they took advantage of it. Apparently, it is customary for them to continue charging after the car is returned. They have continued sending bills!!!!Has anyone had similar experiences? Check it out, they do that.Looking for remedies. Three months after the car was returned they are still charging without resolve. I have called Hertz and it seems to be the Folsom location.......I used to live in the area, I cannot believe these people are operating in such a great location.

I cannot give a Zero to these people because there is no zero.I warn you about the scam these people have in place. I rented a car online. when I arrived there, they did not have a car but something different. They have overcharged me until this day over $250.00.Looking for remedies.You rent from these people and they will continue billing you for months.

Don't rent a electric car!!. Warning given. I guarantee you will regret it, unless you are driving on flat surfaces only. I could not make it to Reno from Sacramento without stopping to charge for at least 30 minutes. I was late to my appointment.Just set aside an extra two hours a day to charge the car, if you can find a charge station. It would be one of the worst mistakes you will make. The stress!!!!!!WOW!

The gentlemen working behind the counter were friendly and appeared to have no control of anything going on at the facility. When I arrived to pick up my car, the one I reserved wasn’t available. The manager was extremely blasé and unconcerned about this-not apologetic in any way. To be understanding, I went to target and back to allow them time to prepare the vehicle. After coming back, my car still wasn’t ready so they gave me a better vehicle for no extra charge, which I appreciated. On the way to SFO the following morning at 6:00 AM the rear passenger tire goes extremely flat in a matter of minutes. The ‘roadside assistance’ was not helpful in any way and offered to send someone out to put on the donut for $90. My husband was able to put on the donut himself, but of course, no local hertz would have a replacement and I’d have to stop at Sac International for a new car. We were on the way to an international trip and didn’t have time for that, obviously, so we had to limp the car all the way from Sacramento to SFO on a donut. From what we could tell, this tire already had a hole that they tried to crudely patch and didn’t warn us and then it blew. The maintenance light also came on immediately after, they obviously take terrible care of the vehicles. All in all I was charged $250 to have a rental for ONE NIGHT that ended up being a nightmare. I was then charged $18 a week later due to passing through a toll including a $9.99 ‘convenience fee’ Hertz assesses by paying the toll on your behalf. Are you kidding me? I will never ever ever use Hertz again and still intend to pursue a refund. Just pay the extra money to use Enterprise, this company is a joke and the negative reviews are 100% accurate.

If I could give a zero I would. Rented a car for Tuesday to Tuesday. On my first day of driving the car on our family vacation engine oil light came up and indicator said 5%.We arrived at our hotel and notified hertz and said money would not be compensated but can give a certificate for my troubles exchanging the car and unable to use the car for a day until car was exchanged. I came back today hoping Anna would keep her word but was informed the "best she could do was $25 certificate" I was appalled as we were unable to travel the first night of our vacation and the wasted the first morning trying to get the car exchanged. Anna is now telling me she said the car was good to go and I never needed to exchange the car. So trying to blame me for exchanging the car when I didn't need to. $25 for spending 4-5 phone calls when the engine light came on and hour plus time spending time with customer service and online and $25 is what my family and myself deserve for all my troubles. Don't ever go here. Service was horrendous and they don't take ownership in anything that happens like an engine oil light being on and making it the responsibility of customers to take care. Avoid Anna. She’ll lie and won’t bay an eye
