“I went in knowing that I would be walking out with a new phone. I had James help me make my decision, and he was very easy-going and didn't pressure me into anything I did not want to buy that day.The process of getting a new phone has definitely changed from when I remembered. You had to stay there for two hours in my past experience so that the associate could transfer your information over to your new phone.Well, now they have you take a photo of a paper that has specific directions and do it yourself at home and send in your old phone to get the promotional offer or drive it to Placerville yourself.I can see older people having an issue with this process and a lot of other issues.5 stars to James the associate in the Folsom California location, but 1 star for the new process of having the customer do the extra leg work just for the promotional discount and trade-in for a new phone upgrade.”

Pharmacy, Starbucks, makeup, drive up pickups, electronics area, changing rooms, you name it, they’ve got it.Mens clothing / shoes section is a little lackluster at this location, but there are better places to go for mens clothes in the area already. For local reviews or travel content, you can find us on most socials @sunsetourist”

“I bought the gateway. Very informative and helpful in deciding to get Internet through T-Mobile. Everything seems to work well as far as very few connection issues.”

“I took my Pfaff serger in for servicing that another company couldn't fix. Upon my arrival, the owner took my machine and inspected it and told me exactly what was wrong with it. It only took a few days and I got my machine back fixed and cleaned. After I got home, I tried my machine. Well it didn't work for me. So I contacted the owner and brought it back in. He was very nice and showed me from scratch how to thread my machine (sergers are difficult to thread). Well clearly the things I was doing were wrong. He showed me step by step how to do it. He serged on a piece of fabric and it was beautiful. I took it home and followed his instructions to change the color thread. It serged beautifully! The owner made me feel confident that I could bring it in anytime if I had issues and he would help me to thread it or whatever problem I was having. I give four stars only because the service was a little pricey. But I am a happy customer!”

“Kalyn was awesome! It was busy when I came into the store but she was able to help a customer and while they were working on something she came over to me and took care of me in less than 10 min. I appreciate your help yesterday!”

“Tip: Use the online scheduling tool rather than just walk in. Much better experience. Lots of people waiting and I just walked in and got stuff done. Knowledgeable staff.”

“This is the biggest Target in the Folsom + El Dorado county area. It recently under went renovation. Changes you will see: -lights are brighter -there's a second smaller seasonal area near the door. Right now there are several Sun Squad items (that are 20%), summer wines, lawn chairs, pool supplies, and large containers of pop corn kernels (drive in movie, or project one in the backyard and watch from your pool?) -the makeup section has been made to feel more like an Ulta -the clothing section feels like a H&M, with two different fitting areas. -they have a decent liquor, wine, and beer section now. -The toy section has stepped up its game with a cool Lego sculpture in the middle that looks rather Instagram worthy + several interactive playareas including a heat sensitive/ color changing wall, series of speaking tubes, and lots of cool other things to discover. Seems like this section goes on and on, so you may want to prepare yourself if you're going in with kids or a husband. -There's a section just for children's books. Next to that you'll find a big display for the most recent kids merchandise thing, right now it's Toy Story 4, before that it was Minecraft. Everything feels more interactive and enticing. I have to remind myself I'm on a budget, especially when I got to the Stranger Things merchandise in my size (July 4th is so soon! ). Target definitely has the family with small children niche down with smooth rolling shopping carts that are perfect for putting a baby to sleep. A baby section that's very well organized, with competitive prices. Their breast feeding policy, is to let mother nurse undisturbed in the changing rooms. There's a Starbucks + I already mentioned the toy section (yep you're going to need coffee for that).”

“Well now. I was in need of a particular brand of cell phone charge. But I had no clue the size or fit. Plus I needed it quickly, no time to deal with ordering it online to wait for delivery. So off I went to Best Buy (BB) in Folsom. As I walked in, I realized I had no clue where the cell phone chargers would be and did not feel like wandering around all of creation looking for them. I asked the person sitting at the counter next to the door. He told me where they would be. Perfect. I found them and realized I needed two items; the adapter and cable. I googled the cable size fit. But I was stumped on what wattage I needed for the adapter. An associate came over to offer assistance. He advised me that the one on the shelf is too high a wattage for my phone. He checked the computer for inventory of a lower wattage adapter; then he went looking for them. He came back fairly quickly with one. But as I got home and tried out the items. Darn, the cable did not fit my phone. I was kicking myself for not asking the associate to verify that as well. He was super helpful and knowledgeable. Anyway, I went back to BB the next day for an exchange. I was anticipating this to not go that smoothly. I was proven wrong, it was easy and painless. I had my receipt and the cashier knew immediately what size/fit I needed. Since there was no one behind me in line, he darted to the sales floor to grab one for me. He quickly exchanged them out and completed the transaction.”
